    If your Nebenkostenabrechnung is too high because of errors (this does happen, too often), you can contest it. You have to contest the NKA within 1 year of receipt of the NKA.
    To get help doing this it's worth being a member of a local Mieterverein.
    Have a nice day everyone.

    That's a reason,because I think, rental live is cheaper/easier in Norway. Here we have the rent , and usually the energi/Strom bill. If you want you get internet. But these other bills that's. yours alone, in rental flats you pay 12 rents and a depos

    So its technically every household has an electricity credit yearly for instance 4000 kWh for one house (4 family member) then if we use it over 4000 kWh yearly we have to pay more but if we use less we will get the refund? 👀

    15:25 If electricity consumption is digitally tracked so precise that you can track it on weekly basis, why that company doesn't charge you monthly per your consumption? Why you still need to pay a fixed electricity bill and then have "recalculation" at the end of the year?
    The same goes to all other costs which are digitally tracked(like you showed for heating).
    Then you can avoid almost 1year waiting time to get charged(usually for the last year at the end of this year).
    And as in your case that also stop from getting deposit for several months when you move out.
    Especially problematic for people moving out from Germany.

    You know what? You’ve just saved me over 500 EUR. I got a letter from my landlord 3 months ago, and misunderstood the ‘Guthaben’ part, so paid him 250 extra when it meant that I have a 250 credit. After watching this video, now I know what it meant and have asked for a refund.
    Thanks to you two.

      Why unfair?

    • @alexspata
      @alexspata 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@simplegermany Because from my experience, calculating heating costs with "percent" like that, it's not fair and has a high rate of inaccuracy.
      A lot of tenants want to spare some money by not opening the heating, but it makes an insignificant difference, you still pay a lot, but you're also freezing 😂
