pretty sure some people are purposefully choosing characters that they know maybe 50% of the people are going to recognize because they want to see what those who haven't are going to make up
like I get it but if I were one of the people playing this I would be so goddamn frustrated when I only knew like three of the characters

I like the idea of being prompted to draw a character from Touhou, and just barely drawing a portion of a face or eye or something, then the rest of the screen is a curtain of bullets.

They should do an animation promo where they try and replicate an Opeing from a show (knowing them, mostly anime/cartoons)

Ross says nothing when it came to Isaac. but I remember when he vehemently said "NO" to Arin and Barry when they suggested playing "Binding of Isaac" again on Steam Train. Something about that game...
If memory serves me correctly, I played it for the first time on steam train nearly 7 years ago. But was plagued with backseaters and people complaining I didn't know how to play on my first try. So I never wanted to play it again for the show.

@@RubberRoss understandable 100% there seems to be a particular method and powerset combo that TH-camrs who specialize in that game tend to keep to (I'm thinking of Tears of Grace specifically) and I've noticed the game is not terribly kind to exploration or trial and error, preventing an audience from seeing the cool end bosses.

I think these are my favorite of the Gartic Phone vids, primarily because we can see how much overlap (or lack thereof) of pop culture everyone's experienced.

I love that no one recognized Nene from Toiletbound Hanako, so someone drew Nene from Hololive as a seal, and no one recognized that either.

I started going to small streamers who play gartic phone with their viewers. Alot of the times there's really amazing artists there. So i highly recommend trying it!

Still thinking if you really have no idea of the character is you can look it up for a second then draw it from that memory so at least each character gets drawn instead of a lot of drawings of "IDK who this is"

the fact that people started pointing out who was Reimu and who was Flandre, Akyuu, Cirno, Marisa, and PC-98 Reimu, as well as drawing Fumo Reimu made my good day even better.
First i thought "wait, is this a re-upload?" Then I realized a few days ago I for once stayed up past 3am and saw the session live! I'm not complaining, the more content the better💜

When I was a kid a accidentally discovered that Samus was female while playing Super smash bros with my friends, I was Pikachu and electrocuted Samus and saw that the silhouette inside was female, was so shocked and told my friends and they didn't believe me so I kept electrocuting Samus to prove I was right xD

I've always thought Shulk has a weird half-posh-British, half-Australian accent, lol
The VA is british. However, they do that anime dub thing when recording his lines where, rather than re-sync the animations to the dub, they get the dubber to reword and alter the speed of their delivery to try to match the japanese mouth animations. Might have something to do with why the character sounds just slightly off-british to a lot of folks.
I guess that explains why the voice acting is so shitty in Xenoblade Chronicles 2. The few well delivered lines stand out as bad because everything else was so terrible
@@thealmanancy9020 If I remember right, apparently the English voice actors for Xenoblade Chronicles 2 were given no voice direction or context for lines. Torna mostly resolved that issue (among many other things it fixed), so here's to hoping that the rumored third game will let the voice actors actually act instead of trying to improvise no-context lines.

I have only seen like 1 or 2 episodes of cutie honey back in like 2008 or so, but I was surprised that I actually remembered what the main character looked like. And them talking about it sent me on a nostalgia trip and got me trying to sing the theme song to myself, which I'm also surprised that I remember.
That theme song is so good. Especially the Koda kumi version.
