Bulgarian steel mags are my favorite steel mags as far as 30 rounders go. The bulgarian polymers steel reinforced are excellent and work excellent especially for the price. But as far as polymers go, I would have to say zastava are my favorite polymers. Steel reinforced and very tuff and durable polymer. Not to mention they are definitely the best looking polymer mags I’ve ever come across. They’re a few extra dollars than tue bulgarian mags, but are very much worth the money hands down
Magpul, X-Tech, and all Bulgarian magazines whether steel, polymer, or steel re inforced polymer mags are the way to go. Magpul for the range X-Tech for heavy duty and everyday use. Bulgarian for top quality, fit, and finish.
FYI, Atlantic firearms has these also. They have a picture on their site with the metal parts. I have some on order, so hoping it’s not false advertising,
These are good mags, I've run the shit out these this last year, not one malfunction. Only a few thousand rounds so far! Love my steel surplus mags (Russian, Polish, Hungarian, Romanian, Chinese, East German) but these Bulgi polymer's feed & function great!!
I just picked up one of the waffle Bulgarian mags polymer for 50 bucks. They also had the 45 round mag for 89$. I got the 30rounder just so I could compare it to the cheaper mags that I paid 10/15 bucks for. Oh ya I forgot I just purchased 3 PreBan Polish surplus steel mags for 20$ a piece. They look like they were never used and fit perfect in my M70. One of my favorites right now.
Bakelite mags, surplus steel mags, and Bulgarian circle 10 mags, and Bulgarian steel reinforced locking lug mags are the best ak mags, and best go to war AK mags.
I was just telling Gun Mag Warehouse how good these mags are on his latest vid, and that they've been saving my fingers from getting blisters from doing drills over, and over, and over again, lol.
US Palm Stainless Steel Latch Cage Magazines work Great too. Insert new ones smacking them in about 3-times and removing, then they just easily lock up TIGHT, no Wobble. AIM SURPLUS, has the FDE on sale for $15.95 . "GIT SOME " Masonry Plus Florida DeSantis Strong
I've got 8, picked them up pretty cheap and they've run pretty great. I push up tested them and have thrown them on rocks and concrete and haven't had any issues other than the bolt hold open wearing quickly(within the first 10 or so bolt strikes) but I didn't pick them up for the BHO so it doesn't bother me
Love the winterized setup you got going on. I'm making my saiga ranger green soon and mixing in tan tape bcuz its always dirty snow here in Michigan only few settings where it really sticks white for a week or two
Does anyone know the exact listing name or the SKU number at gun mag warehouse? They have several options and I want to make sure I’m getting the right ones. Circle 10’s have been my go to but after buying ten I’m going to keep them for my TEOTWAKI kit and start using cheaper ones for range and training. Thx in advance.
Shk mags from global have been ok'd by gunsngear and are under 10$ a piece. They are Korean but have been good to me! I found little to no info about these and the Ak community is still undecided on them.
I have no personal experience with the SHK mags, so I can't speak about them. But these mags I have a good amount of experience with and have found them to be great.
I just purchased Zastava M70 and the store sent one metal magazine and additional ten PMAG 30 ak/akm magazines for free. However, I opened two of PMAG magazines, loaded with ammo and tried chambering the ammo and the rifle won't extract from the magazine. Anyone have same issue? (The steel magazine works fine.)
Why is it not feeding? Is the bolt traveling over the rounds into battery? Is the bolt seizing on the rounds because the nose of the round is jamming into the front lip?
What about the feed lips on these? Do they have the same issue with cracking like p mags do? Whats your thoughts on the us palm mags? I've picked up a couple since they were brought back and I enjoy them quite a bit.
@@natemel12 yah they are fairly thicc, thankfully they fit perfectly in mine. Not that I have issue with a little wobble in my mags. My 40rnd Bulgarian ones flop around like crazy and cause malfunctions for my akm.
Just as a suggestion when you are filming a review video on mags etc unload the mags ammo should not be around a gun or loaded into a gun for a review unless it’s out in the range. Other than that great video
@@gungnirstrategic well when you are on the range about to shoot for a review totally different scenario then when you are at home just to show a magazine there is no need to have it loaded in that instance for a review
That's good. 47 mags have a lot more "wiggle" room as opposed to 5.45 or 5.56 AKs. Although, it is highly likely that the RAS47 is out of spec rather than the mags as those RAS47s are not terribly well made AKs, no offense.
@@gungnirstrategic i'd definitely blame the gun before i blame the mags lol the ras47 is an extremely cheap AK clone, although 100% made in the US. magpul magazines fit like a glove.
100% agree. I have a bunch of these and they fit the best across all my AKs. Served me well at Valor Ridge. Great mags overall. New sub 👍
Valor Ridge 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

@@gungnirstrategic How you only have 49 subs at this point baffles me. Glad you're on here despite yt becoming a censorious pile of flaming kpop poo!!

Of these... new ak owner. Used to have an Arsenal but just jumped back in with a zastava m92 and m70.

Bulgarian Waffle Mags are available, they're just expensive. They are the best for the the 47/AKM though. For the 74s I'm not sure.

Can no longer put links to gun parts, magazines, etc.. without the video being taken down and getting a strike

Anyone know how they fit in a ace galil, asking for a friend

They have steel reinforced feed lips. I have never had an issue with cracked feed lips on these particular mags. US Palm Mags are great.
The only issue I have seen with the palm mags is they are thick and do not fit into some mag openings very well super tight fit

best ak47 mag just has Wolff springs and a steel tab
Ive got some cdnn has them cheapest you just have to calll they dont advertise them

They don't have any slop in any of my AKs. But every AK will fit various magazines a little differently.

you didnt link it
