A brother of Al Capone was convinced that he had killed someone in a fight so, he ran away to the circus in the Midwest. Years later he reconnected with Al who confessed that the person was not killed. Al was beaten up by this brother after the revelation. Correct?
I always felt a little bad for Elliot Ness since his career pretty much stopped after he helped arrest Capone and died in obscurity without many people knowing who he was until the Untouchables TV show came out.
Cool fact, I lived in one of his old homes in Michigan. Right across the river from his lieutenant’s home later owned by Muhammad Ali. We found thousands of liquor bottles on the property and it had a built in watch tower and siren.
My dad grew up in Kalamazoo and I guess my great grandma and Capones sister were friends. She was ostracized because of her brother but had a nice house
Really good video here this didn't disappoint also who knows did see a portion of this in another part something else did before this on some documentary series about the Chicago Outfit.
I really enjoy this narrator I'm glad he's doing more videos again... Couldn't stand the other guy doing the videos I couldn't watch them makes me think of someone running their nails across the chalkboard...
Everybody hating on people's narrations. I can't believe this is still being brought up. Everybody deserves a chance at a job. Maybe it's not the same but in all reality. Nobody's supposed to be. Fn'g A!!
My family members are burried in the same row of graves as capone at the mount caramel cemetery. There are large hedges covering and blocking his Grave stone. The hedges cover the name and you have to either pull the bushes back or stand on your tippy toes just to see it, you wouldn't know if you weren't told, but i've been going to that cemetery for over thirty five years now and I always just go take a peek for the nostalgia of it. I heard that the hedges were to protect from grave robbers as he was buried with guns, made out of gold, but I have no way of proving that as it's what I heard when I was a kid..

I think you forgot to mention his resort with a private lake to fly in booze from Canada to bootleg. Couderay, Wisconsin. On the Lac Courte Orioles Indian Reservation. Al Capone's Hide Out. Used to be open for tours. Had a tavern, stone jail cell located in the middle of driveway in front of house between them. The 2 story house had rifle peeps built into the walls.
His career was already pretty big, he did that huge investigation into that Staten Island mental asylum in the 70’s that showed how hellish mental hospitals were and led to massive reforms and closures.
