The taping the screw to the screwdriver is the best tip EVER! Thank you so much. I just replaced one of my bulbs and it took hardly any time. I used a makeup mirror to help me see the screws and holes.

😩😩😩 why am I just seeing this!!!!🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽super life saver thank you. Every shop known to mankind kept trying to charging me 300 and better saying they had to remove the bumper in order to gain access to light 😩😩😩😩
Awesome, now you can do it your self and buy the ones on the link below 👇 or any other one, Ford is ripping off their customers with their crazy prices. GOD BLESS!!!
Thank you so much for the video, just like everybody else said this was extremely informative and it worked for me on my 2013 Ford escape titanium. Only one note for the video, don't bury the lead my friend if you would have said I could get two bulbs for $25 I would have clicked that Amazon link before the video ended.
Just did this on my 2013 Ford escape titanium in about an hour and a half this morning. Very frustrating but your video and a little bit of patience saved me! Another terrible design for a Ford money grab.
Amazing your a gent ! Thanks so much for the tutorial you've made my life so easy now mate ! I've just Subscribed looking forward to more brilliant videos thanks so much
Hi I am considering trying this because I can’t afford a shop. My question is if I accidentally drop a t10 screw? Can I buy a pack of them just in case or am I out of luck if I drop it? Also how much would the magnetic tool be ? The only thing I have right now is tape 😞
Honestly if you tighten the tape the way I did you won't have any problems even if you don't have a magnetic screwdriver, the tape is more secure to be honest because after you done you have to pull a little hard to get the screwdriver out so don't worry, honestly I don't know where the screw will go if it falls 😂 maybe it is nothing crazy, also I don't know if Ford sales this screws, they should be, if not pull one out and check at Home Depot or Lowe's, also check the link down below I have a 2 magnet tools there. good luck and GOD BLESS!!!
It's really hard to look where the screws are. I can't see them. I have been trying for 2 days how to get them off. The good news is I got 2 bulbs on Amazon for $30.00.
Well, it is as today July 7, 2024 a $21.00 price set of 2, that is on the description down below, cheap but works, more than a year and still running, better than the $250 OEM light and just for 1
You may need the H11 bulb or the 9005 bulb, depending on your model. I have the SE and needed to 9005. Pull your bulb first to be sure. Btw, the 9005 is a longer buib and harder to remove. I assume the assembly is designed for the shorter H11 bulb but some a-hole engineer switched to 9005 without a care how the customer would be affected. I could not get the rear reservoir clip to release. From a tip in another video, I made a string lasso and was able to pull the wire harness into place and snap the bulb in. I did after getting the tip of the bulb into the hole but prior to seating it fully and twisting it into place. All-in-all, a horrible design, as is the battery location on this vehicle. A customer should not have to take their car to a mechanic for these simple tasks.
Leave it to Ford to make something basic like changing a headlight bulb a pain in the d***. The screws are obnoxiously placed and way tighter than they would ever need to be.
Thank you so much. This was the best informative video I’ve seen for these bulbs. You are right, what a pain. Thank you for sharing the bit size T10
My pleasure, Thanks GOD it works for you!!
Lifesaver… saved me a lot of time.. took me 30mins and some patience.. great tip about taping the screw✌🏼
Great to know brother, made my day! ... GOD BLESS YOU!!!
This worked for me on the 2013 Ford Explorer. I only did the passenger side and it was tight. The driver side looks even tighter. Thanks!
Awesome! GOD BLESS!!!
Thanks for the video! Gel super glue works really great to hold the screw on the bit as well.

Use your phone camera or a mirror as a guide.... I did it with the phone
Stupid coolant overflow is massively in the way.
What headlight housings are those?

Absolutely correct, that's why I am moving from Ford to Honda and Toyota, most of the replacing parts in this vehicle are a real pain 😢
Can I put this on a 2013 Fiord Edge limited ?
No idea, check if it works, if not just send it back.
It worked
@@Walter_SNZ Awesome 👍
You need to say that you need some way to actually see the screws like a mirror or camera
@deovaako Yes, it is very difficult to do without the right tools.
Fuck this headlight bro.
I know horrible!

You are correct, Ford screwed us all!!
