i know this is a year old, but just wanted to let u know i got this stuff at walmart hardware section and fixed my roof in the parking lot in about 30 seconds.
Thanx for the video. A respirator helps to avoid breathing in fumes. It’s good to wait for the adhesive to tack up a bit. The the adhesive can soak into the fabric when it’s wet. For cleaning adhesive off unwanted areas you can try Bestine solvent.
This is a great video for me because I just bought a 2005 Cadillac Escalade and I will definitely be using your methods here. I had no idea it was that easy, this was a lifesaver, thank you for uploading!
I would mask off the window glass and also the whole dashboard before I sprayed. That 3M Super 77 adhesive is VERY strong glue and it dries very quickly and it doesn't come off of anything without some serious solvent like Goof-Off. When you spray, those little particles in the air settle on everything and you can't just wipe them off when they land while they're still fresh.
One good feature of 3 M is that you can just spray one surface and it sticks fine. There is also a very brief time when you can scooch things around a little before it grabs hard. Put out your cigar as the fumes are flammable! And don't use in an enclosed space. Nice video. A
Thanks! just got some of this spray today,....I saw another video where the guy recommended taking an office stapler, if you wanted to avoid the glue....will consider both methods :-)
Geez! Thanks for this informative demo. Some demos I've watched said to spray the roof and the fabric. However, I was wondering if it would saturate through as well. Another demonstrator's advise was to use your fingers to smooth out the fabric after spraying. Ummm...no thank you. I don't wanna wait for super glue to peel off my fingers five days later. LOL I have a 2012 VW suv, so I may need the stronger 3M adhesive. Bless you.

it has been 2 months and my car ceiling is still holding like new. i live on the beach so my windows are always down. this stuff is the real deal
