Tzeentch - the hackers and ppl who steal stuff through it Nurgle - fat ppl who only sit at their computer Khorne - internet warriors Slaanesh - For Porn! IIIHHHAAA!!!
My own headcanon is that the first 3 of the greater chaos gods were created by beings in other universes and became aware of the 40k universe because of the War in Heaven, but were unable to stretch their influence into it until much later. Slaanesh was created and awoken by the actions of the aeldari, and eventually stretched their influence into other universes. That's why the chaos gods and the warp are the same regardless of which Warhammer setting.
`I am constantly so proud to be a Pateron supporter of yours, you all are simply amazing and always do stunning work. Your voice my dear is fine silk so soothing to listen to, it is always a pleasure to hear your voice. I am always blown away by the quality of the artwork you guys find, that brings my childhood to full 4k life. Your Narration the Information about things that I read about maybe 20 25 years ago or more I forgot about, or the things I am currently reading you bring those books to life for me. So thanks for helping to keep this poor crazy Vet a little saner lol.
I am not sure why, but I always hear Khorne in my head having a deep and rich voice, but sweet like honey. I hear John Leguizamo as the clown as nurgal.
Chaos Gods - three of them: Khorne, Tzeentch and Nurgle were born from the War In Heaven where the fighting between Old Ones and their races, Aeldari and Krorks and the Necrontyr/Necrons and C'tan had polluted the Realm of Souls into the Warp. While Slaanesh was created by the Aeldari Empire who went too overboard with their fun times.
@@RA10H56 it’s a quote by Pinhead from Hellraiser. They show up when people solve the puzzle box and then the Cenobites(demons) take said person to hell to be tortured for eternity. Slaanesh’s realm is very similar it seems.
One period that I don't think gets discussed enough is the 65 million year gap between the War in Heaven and 30k. Humanity rose and fell as the predominant galactic power in less than ten thousand years. With that in mind, it's possible that many of the other species seeded by the Old Ones rose and fell at various stages of societal and psychic evolution, feeding the warp in their struggle to find a place in the galaxy without their creators guiding them. Khorne fed by civilisations destroyed by infighting, Tzeentch by those ruined due to individual ambitions, and Nurgle through stagnancy and perhaps failure to even leave their home system. It was also make sense that the Eldar, a widespread, psychically potent species living post-scarcity society would create a chaos god of excess. Perhaps Slaanesh is intrinsically linked with them because no other species reached that level of comfort on as large a scale.
In 40k lore Khorne would emerge first due to war and bloodshed. Nurgle apparently wouldn't emerge until the first known Y Pestis or in the Greek a Phage, the Black Death occured. However historically the first wars were fought because disease, illness and famine were ravaging civilizations. So of course they fought over the resources that were available. The Black Death also wasn't the first major plague to ravage humans. Again disease and famine set off the wars. Hell the first murder was committed during the theft of food. So by historical reference the order should be: Nurgle, Tzeetch, Khorne, Slaanesh. Excessive pleasures wouldn't occur until the first enduring kingdoms rise. As for disease. The first known plague would occur before the formation of China. China was first formed circa 4000 years BC. A very long time before the Dark Ages of the 6-12th centuries. And keep in mind that's the first KNOWN plague. The Rhinovirus and Coronavirus have been ravaging humans for as long as humans have been alive. As such I understand why many fans think Nurgle came first. But it's the lore that's inconsistent with history.
Furthermore, the more fundamental concept of death and decay has been around for a lot longer than brutal bloodshed. Things have been dying for millions, if not billions of years longer than they've been actively killing and/or eating eachother. So yes, people get the order mixed up for a very good reason.
Khorne is my favorite Chaos God. He represents how I like to play on the tabletop: CHARGE IN AND KILL EVERYTHING! BLOOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD, SKULLS FOR THE SKULL THRONE!!!💀💀💀
Khorne is the most generic of the chaos gods though. If you tell someone to draw a daemon, you will probably receive something close to a bloodthirster.
So the double-headed eagle actually doesn't come from a Roman origin. The Romans had a single-headed eagle with wings spread wide with head facing left. Olive branches in one talon and a spear in the other. A shield with the heraldry of the ruling house in front of the eagle. The US actually uses a similar image on the quarter. The ancient world kingdom that has a symbol closest to the Imperium of Man is actually the Ottoman Empire. Their symbol is of a 2 headed eagle. Each head faces away from each other, wings spread wide, 3 arrows in the back talon and a sword held upwards in the front talon. Though both eyes are open and no shield. Now it makes more sense that the Emperor took his symbol from the Ottomans. First because it's the only 2 headed eagle. Second because the Emperor's seat of power is right smack in the lands the Ottoman Empire once controlled.
The emperor was born in Anatolia so that makes perfect sense to me. The Romans did have a legion that did use a double headed eagle but is was certainly not standards and it was probably just the one legion used the sigil. And though the muddling of history it became fact. Much like how it was probably just one unique viking that had a spike/horns on his helmet and through the writings of a monk, the tale of one individual becam3 standard for all vikings.
Unironically, the story of a band of freedom fighters slowly falling to Tzeentch would be amazing. It’s definitely a shame Chaos is so closely tied to the Horus Heresy.
@@40KTheories in AoS, it was mentioned that there were so-called God Beasts that gave the Chaos Gods pause. Are there things that could scare the Ruinous Powers? For example, could a C’Tan consume warp energy the same that it consumes souls?
My apologies for the change in the echo in the audio from time to time: this audio was recorded on two separate occasions. ^^'
Props to Fredrik Knudsen and whoever mixed that sound in the Tzeentch intro. That shift was appropriately disturbing.👍
Glad to hear you again Naerina! Hope you are recovering well!

@hawk66100 what a horrifying and enticing thing to say to a person...

@hawk66100 oh yes I remember it quite well! The agony and the ecstasy...wasn't that part of it as well!
The homoculus remind me of xenobites that is for sure.
I do like the fact that you pointed out the freaking Labyrinth story with the sons of malice doing their little sacrifice😂😂😂😂

what about gork and mork???
They'll get their own video (should they get nominated as a topic on Patreon). ^^

Figured everything from this point forward would just be a black background with a Rosetta and "redacted" across the screen. 😁
So many brothers fell to its whispers. So many relics and ships have been lost to the warp. Truly a tragedy...

Chaos Prods.
Lord Vashtorr?
Great now i have to listen to exterminatus again 😂
Very nice. Paramountcy. Not Paramountey (as pronounced).
If i had to chose one, it would have to be khorne. I hate being sick, i don't like change and i fear dildos.
Counter argument: do you like anything OTHER than bloodshed?
Do the Chaos Gods have influence outside the Milky Way Galaxy?
Considering they can affect other universes (WHFB/AoS, Dark Future among others), it would be reasonable to assume yes.

Is Naerina AI generated? The age of technology is upon us
No. She's Finnish. Check out the episodes of Adeptus Podcastus or the Iceberg Livestreams she featured in. We will never use AI on this channel.
My mistake, seems we're condemned to only witness the age of terra
The old intro was way harder. Again.
