Thank you sir!!! Listening to you gave me clarity!!!! Also, your voice is so nice and good to hear. Want to pursue MD pediatrics! Sir i always listen to your video, whenever I am confused.
Thank u so much ,u cleared almost all of the dilemma about paediatrics.I absolutely love the branch, only thing I get afraid of is the attendants of kids . 😁😀
Same thing happened with me.,I tried a lot for medicine but I got DNB paediatrics at Cooper Hospital Mumbai..thanks sir for your motivation.. Really you cleared all confusions 😇
Thankyou for the video sir . I have similar kind of dilemma I'll get medicine only in last rounds of neet. . and will get md peads in good colleges I initially wanted to do md medicine only but now after watching this video I'm also keeping options for md peads
The paeds doctor(age around 50) whome I consult from childhood asked me to take a good branch and not worst branches like paeds,, and he is quite famous there, still he doesn't like it😄
Amazing branch ... Every gen med pgs and hod and proff never recommended me to take md gen med ...they said ..plz don't take ..just take end branch like paeds..don't waste ur life studying for a long time. Settle early with paeds....so stop spamming unnecessary msgs da
If someone doesn't want to be happy in life and is generally always complaining then they will continue to do the same no matter what branch they take. I know people who are both very happy in paeds and those who complain constantly. So honestly depends on your personality
I am doing medicine from reputed hospital PD Hinduja and trust me ,many of my friends who are in Paeds find Paed,as very discouraging branch since they really have to go mental trauma as their parents keep on nagging them .And in term of superscility in Paeds ,endocrinologist in medicine are suppose to see Paeds patient too .i mean there are hardly any seat .For neuro there is only one seat in Aiims ,that’s it .Pls dnt judge just giving the perscpective of paed by my Paeds colleague in Hinduja hospital .
Hi, no, thanks. These were my views. Most people I know face a tough residency like your friends but in general have a great liking for Pediatrics. Superspecialisation is a different topic. For the current Gen - Pediatrics gives an option; both Adult and Pediatric DM. As far as few seats is concerned - when have seats not been few?
Kanchi Kamakoti Childs Trust Hospital in Chennai has a near hundred percent pass percentage every year. I would definitely recommend it, maybe Pediatric Intensive Care will be handled more by DrNB residents, but apart from that very dedicated teachers, very good subspecialty exposure, Definitely a more relaxed and non toxic residency..
I've always loved paediatric but now that I finally have to choose my pg branch , I'm in dilemma . I love kids but I'm afraid that will make it difficult for me to deal with sick kids . Can you please advice me something on this Boss🙏

Sir i just saw an aakash video of you from 2013 and i wanted to ask that time what exactly was your source of motivation to become a doctor. obviously youve done very well for yourself but not knowing you'd be here 8 years ago i just wanted to know what your mindset and thought process was like at the time of your ug entrances . secondly you said that these 2 years (11th and 12th ) are the most important in your life, study rigorously these 2 years and your life is set. i wanted to ask if you still stand by that statement or do you have a fresher perspective on the issue now. thank you
Your life will not be set after the test, that's the sad reality. Please get into medical field only after speaking to many doctors and getting their perspectives.
Hello sir . I have one query . Some people say medicine has a higher patient load while in pediatrics it’s a lower than medicine . Will the low patient load be a major con while in comparison with medicine ?
That's not exactly true. India has one of the highest birth rates in the world, so definitely there will be lots of kids coming as patients. Just varies from hospital to hospital
I am 55 and hold PG etc in other area. I would be happy to know synergy of MRCPH after ( only after not before) MD pediatrics. I hope pedia is end branch, there is no DM in pedia, yes, Neonatology is there, other than that, if any one does DM after MD pedia, he will no longer be pedia doc. Yes, fellowship available for additions. Our views plz.
Sir plz make a video on good DNB pediatrics colleges from where I can pass. DNB pediatrics passing rate is very low sir. Plz mention some average colleges too, if one doesnt get a good college.

MD, Pediatrics karne ke baad super speciality ke liye ydi adult branch lena ho kya merit & demerit hai exam pattern & experience me as compare to MD medicine.
Sir I had watched your interview video with dams wherein you had mentioned about mental health. I seem to have been going through a similar phase for sometime now. Do you think you could give me some insight for building some mental strength and fighting this fear of failure?
Bro soon md Paed going to be removed from eligibility for md general medicine DM see NMC draft now. Also md paediatric is so much increased so equal number of md general medicine seats all dch r changed to md paediatric now
Sir will doing md pediatrics from pvt college fetch me good results in the future considering I always wanted to do this or should I go for opthal/ent from govt setup? The only thing holding me back is the amount of money and debt that comes with it...
Sir though we can do adult dm , is clearing exam of adult super specialities after doing md peds is very unlikely and relatively not so easy than after doing md medicine
If v look at the working hours in paeds ..the mental stress ..it's underpaid branch . But if on is passionate about this branch then it doens't matter . But someone aiming for high earning branch then paediatric is not the branch as earning curve is slow here
Hello sir, have gotten AIR 2576. I want to take paediatrics. According to last year counselling I have a choice between colleges in Mumbai and Kolkata. What’s your opinion regarding the same?
The time he said that treating and caring for children ... Gives high level of satisfaction.... Was the best ❤

As far as few seats is concerned - when have seats not been few?
For Neuro- AIIMS conducts exams twice in a year with a total of 4 seats.
PGI also - with similar number of seats.

The amount charged by Private is exorbitant. Better to avoid. Doing DNB from a government centre is more beneficial.

Neonatology and Critical Care.
