They really just don’t care about the fans. How much work would it take to add the flood even as AI in forge, and what would be the payoff? Haven’t touched this game in almost a year, I’d be back on it today.
@@ericbooth3393 I think the management is more at fault than the devs, I mean they cut 70% of the campaign and I'm guessing that we would've seen the Endless as a Flood similar type of enemy in those 70% and planned campaign DLC's. The lack of leadership also really hurt the multiplayer and its cancelled season narratives. All these issues together with a bunch of "mercenary" developers who only got 1 year deals from Microsoft, 1 year in which they had to learn how to use the buggy mess of a Slipspace Engine really killed what could've been a truly infinite game (10 year plan)
@ I didn’t know 70% of the campaign was cut. Really does make me wonder if It’s the devs having really bad ideas or management cutting the good stuff cluelessly. I thought the campaign was actually good, on par with Halo 4 for me. Didn’t like the Multiplayer much. Played like 3 hours of it in total, mostly AI battles in custom maps. It was a huge missed opportunity. Not having even a cameo from the flood was bizarre.
@ericbooth3393 the development was really troubled. Again, mercenary devs that were hired, countless engine issues, by the time it was supposed to be released they barely got the project going. We were supposed to get a lot more biomes like in CE, H2 and H3. The campaign was going to be very interesting with Banished warlords taking control of sectors of the rings with a massive base which you could either destroy head on or sabotage by destroying outposts (like Riven Gate) to limit the warlords weapon supply, shields, armour and vehicles. Outpost Tremonius was supposed your main base of operations where the rescued Marines were going to hang out and more importantly: rescued Spartans. You could've taken a squad (like the Army in Reach) of Spartans to help you fight the open world enemies with appearances of Lasky, Palmer, Buck and maybe even Horvath and Kovan. It was really ambitious but not impossible, they just didn't have the right leadership and the management made all the wrong decisions with Slipspace The multiplayer suffered from the Slipspace too and was released prematurely, as Forge, co-op, Firefight, etc. were planned for launch initially
I love how you all are different versions of Master Chief lol
That wasn't even intentional, I hosted the game in custom browsers and these people joined as I was loading in lol
Thinking about how amazing the flood could have looked in infinite and the amount of 343 missed opportunities hurts

That’s what happens when you name your company after a villain.
This is really cool. If only there was Flood A.I. for this game. That would make Firefight so much fun and make this remake even greater.
Someone made a Flood AI concept a little while back, but yeah it would be cool to see them officially added somehow!
The fact you got thoes curved holo lift bridge things to work like in game is wild to me
Amazing work as always. Would love to see you remake H2 e3 Demo in Infinite. For us players who only have an Xbox and can’t play it 😊
ive seen this level before. very good remake
Wow this is amazing, this looks great!
too bad forge don't have the library of all scores. but impressive level.
More like a firefight campaign ❤
Where is the flood?
I'm new to forge, I bookmarked the map and got it into forge, but I don't know how to switch it to linear FF KOTH.. any ideas?
You need to launch it in custom games not forge
this looks 1:1
how ???
The power of forge baby
@@xXBarthXx sweet I have problems with maps half that size
