@fucookie Don't get me wrong, Garth is amazing in his own right but there is only one King of country. Garth tours like crazy and has 20 #1 hits but George retired topping out at 60 #1 hits for his career. Radio stations here in Texas have dedicated 24 hour streams to nothing but George Strait. Another keeps people tuned in by promising at least 2 strait songs every hour. Another has something called "strait at eight" where they play a couple of his songs back to back. George is King.
George Strait IS, and WILL be ALWAYS, THE King of Country!! Garth is great... but he studied at the feet of the King, George Strait, #hisinspiration. Read about it. HANDS. DOWN. King.
I'm from Cheyenne. Cheyenne has the largest outdoor rodeo and western celebration on Earth. That is what this song is about. A cowboys love for Cheyenne Frontier Days, "The Daddy of Em All".
LaneUSMC I was fortunate to see George early in his career in Brehnam. Still remember the magic of George! Saw him several times at the Livestock Show with the kids..also huge fans.
He wasn't being dismissive, he was fronting. His heart was breaking, and he figured he owed it to her to make her feel like she made the right decision. He was being a good enough man to let her be happy. He knew he hadn't been giving her the life she deserved.
Pretty much....I saw that having already met someone new, her decision was made. He was respecting that, likely mentioning Cheyenne to relieve her of any guilt. You have to understand this culture was founded on respect for one another-even (or especially) in the face of betrayal. ...Reason was it's one of the things that helped ensure a long life in places with little law here. If you killed someone in the West, the more respected they were, the more friends they likely had, and the more money got spent hiring folks or detectives to investigate or find you....and this was all well understood, and would be inferred by just the way you acted/ how respectable you seemed. This likely promoted the culture of honor and respect that has lasted into modern times, especially in parts of Texas, Wyoming, etc where many towns still have no police- only a small sheriff's dept. at the county seat. You can see a slight version of this today, but only regarding public figures or police....where harm to them guarantees a greater response... mind you without the cultural impact since this extra protection can't be gained/increased for anyone by acting 'more public figur-ee' or more 'police-ish' lol....
These two guys represent what I wish our media and entertainment world would show more of. They likely won’t see my boy George in a concert, but they are cool and give legitimate dialog. I would send them a round of drinks if they were at my bar. Yah, I’m a conservative, Country listening white guy, but I got more in common with these two than a lot of folks. God Bless.
I sure wish they had read this, it is a great reminder that there are others out there that we have more in common with us than we realize whether they like the same kind of music, or music at all. Just good people you would love to buy a drink for

I'm so glad you did one of his songs. He just dropped his 30th studio album on the 29th at almost 70 years old. He is the King of Country, never sold out, always true to his roots. For 90s r&b being my favorite genre of music, George Strait trumps it. He is my #1 since I was a kid.
Loved your reaction. Thank you for respecting country music. Most people write it off right away without giving it a shot as soon as they hear the word country. Your interpretation of the song was right and I liked how you equated it to a basketball player or anybody else trying to make it at what they love. It was great to see you get what country music really does which is tell a story that everybody can relate to. All you had to do was insert a different profession and it can relate to anyone. And thank you for acknowledging that country music keeps it real. That's what it's all about. And that the artists and fans are unapologetic about it. And yes George is the KING of country music. He has 61 number one hits which is more than any other artist in any genre in history. That's how he got the name KING George. Thanks for keeping it real guys #freethinkers
The song is about the life of a rodeo cowboy. The song begins with a phone call from a cowboy on the road to his love. He assures her that he is coming home. However, her tone alerts him that something is wrong. The chorus reveals that the woman has decided to leave him for another she feels is more reliable. The man replies that as much as this pains him, he will go on to Cheyenne, the most prestigious rodeo around. He was going to give up Cheyenne to be with her, one of the biggest sacrifices a cowboy could make, yet the moment he learned she had replaced him for another, he was quick to try to make Cheyenne. The cowboy does get to Cheyenne but it is revealed that when he does, it is his love that is still foremost on his mind. The song is about Lane Frost.
FYI George Strait has more #1 hit singles than ANYONE in the history of music, thats all genre's. That's why he's called The King of Country "When you hear twin fiddles and a steel guitar"
Yes you hit the nail on the head, fiddles and steel guitars.... equals pure old school country music, unlike todays so-called country music. It's like the Travis Tritt song says from so many years ago, "Country ain't Country no-more"!
Cheyenne is Cheyenne Wyoming. It's a place where there is a huge Rodeo every year or there may be more. But I do know that Cheyenne Wyoming hosts a huge Rodeo at least once a year.
I used to live in Cheyenne and yeah it's def about frontier days. My ex had tickets to see journey and Reba was there. But I swear you could hear the music from frontier days from the mud hud on the south side pass the via-docks. Laramie and Cody could hear journey too lol.
The point of the song is this: the chyenne rodeo is basically the mecca of rodeos. Its on the most prestigious rodeos around. He was going to give up going on order to be with her, but it was too late.

I've been listening to George Strait, Waylon Jennings, George Jones, Toby Keith, Hank Williams Jr, Conway Twitty etc for years. I grew up around it and just gravitated to it.
Sure, but they look confused when he talk about Cheyenne, cause they were not cowboys, neither am I, but hope it's about Cheyenne Frontier Days™.. (Moral of the song ~ don't quit to give your best, even if your heart is broken..)
I swore I would never listen to goat ropin music .. being a rocker and a musician since I was 8 years old .. but I went to Alabama in my 20's and it all changed .. and George is definitely the King seriously he grows on you big time the more listen to him the more you love him .. he has so many fucking good songs its impossible not to love him and he is just plain and simply a great guy .
Garth Brooks says in his show he spends 2 hours flying through the air, running back and forth on stage and doing all kinds of stunts to get the crowd charged up and all George Straight has to do is walk out on stage, stand in one place and smile and the place goes wild.
I'm a massive George Strait fan, but let's give credit where it's due, there's a reason why Garth has won Entertainer of the Year so many times. The man puts on one of the best concerts ever.
I find it so perfect that you guys called George "pure country" and he was literally in a movie called Pure Country in the 90's. What are the odds, huh?
I like that y’all say this song is pure country when George Straight was the main character of a movie named “Pure Country”. He’s the king of country like Elvis was the king of rock and roll.
I'm pretty sure his "I can still make Cheyenne" comment is supposed to imply that when he initially called and said he hadn't made the cut, that he had indeed made the cut to the next event, Cheyenne. He was willing to give up his position at Cheyenne because he was ready to come back home. Once she let him know he was too late, he decided to push forward with his career.
I just found your channel and I'm obsessed!!! As a lifelong country girl I'm loving your takes on these old school country songs! And really love that you called this a "pure country" song bc he was in the movie Pure Country 😊
Didn't make the "short go" in reference to the final round in the rodeo. He travels for rodeo and is always gone. She always expects to receive a call that he's been killed in a rodeo accident. The Cheyenne Rodeo is world famous in the rodeo world, like the Calgary Stampede rodeo
Like Chris Ledoux, they both started out rodeoing. Chris was a bronc rider, George did bull doghing. Chris started out just recording and selling his tapes at the rodeo. George started preforming at the rodeos. I think they actually met in Cheyenne.
Ken Hall I opened for his son Ned back in October He is a great guy!! Has a lot of cool stories about his Father and a lot of good songs!! Keep an eye out for him he's climbing the ladder!!
They'd have to hear the way overplayed "This Cowboy's Hat" and not something like "Tougher Than the Rest" or any of his less known cowboy songs. Agreeing he's awesome but that's cowboy music where country is so...weird on how it can be pop but mention hay bales.
He's a cowboy... He is who he is... He is what he is... He's not necessarily trying to provide a better life for her as much as he's just pursuing his passion and if she can't handle it, that's ok. Ironically, it's this passion that attracted her to him in the first place. He doesn't hate her. He doesn't wish her ill. He knows she wasn't the first and that she won't be the last. He's on his path and women are welcome to come and go. One of my favorite songs. Nice work guys!
Poor logic. Jethro Tull once won a best metal Grammy. Sometimes using popularity to decide standard just doesn't work. Thinking like that would make McD's the restaurant chain with the best food.
Dont get me wrong George Strait has a ton of good songs but I dont think that makes him the one and only king of country, theres quite a few other great country artists out there who I think have songs that can beat out some of George's best songs. Alan Jackson, Hank Williams, Tobey Kieth, Brooks and Dunn, Alabama, and Waylon Jennings to name a few. George Strait has made a huge contribution to country and again has a lot of great songs but he shouldn't be the "king" that most other country artist are compared to.
Yes, there are a lot of great country artists. But that's literally George's nickname. He's known as The King of Country. It's like how no one tried to claim Prince was also the King of Pop. Yeah, he was good, but that wasn't his nickname. Strait holds the record for most number one albums and singles, gold albums, platinum albums, and multi-platinum in the history of country music. He's definitely the King of Country.
Greatest thing I've seen on TH-cam in awhile. I'm from iowa, but live and rodeo in Texas. I listen to hip hop mainly but George Strait is a staple of rodeo life
George Strait is the most respected country singer of all-time!!! Willie Nelson may be a national treasure, but nobody has the clout that Strait does!! My favorite song of his is Ocean Front Property.
That's a great one, how did you pick a favorite?, He doesn't have bad songs just ones I like more then others, I really dig I hate everything, run, Amarillo by morning, poison, when the credits roll, so much like my dad
On a sidenote George Strait is the king of country music and if you look him up, he has a world record in any music genera for the most number one hits in the history of music
The fact that you guys stay putting out content at the level of quality you guys do is incredible. Being so open minded with music in todays world is almost unheard of, i also love that you guys are not afraid to say if a song is trash just because it was a song requested by a subscriber. This channel is definitely one of my favorites (notification squad!) That being said I have a few requests from a variety of genres that id like to see you guys do. And I'll probably be posting them on every video but don't feel rushed or pressured to get them out just look at them as friendly reminders haha. Linkin Park- given up The messenger Slipknot- snuff Devil in I Psychosocial Disclosure- Omen Logic- metropolis Disgusting Maybe some Lana del Rey That's it for now, Stay up!
Earned a sub. This was a surprisingly good review, many people are put off by country, but you gave it a fair listen and found deeper meaning in the lyrics.
I just don't understand how you don't have millions of subs yet. You guys put out some of the realist content on the web, let alone You Tube. I found your channel on the 46&2 review and binged from there. I have always been a fan of good music ,period, no matter the genre. I really get that coming from both of you as well. And this is coming from a kid who's 80's mixed tapes had everything from Sugar Hill Gang or Woodini to Phil Collins or Megadeath. So I respect the honesty when you say 'no, it's not gonna make the playlist but it is still a good well made song'. or how you just don't get some things. Me for example, with my love of music from classical to contemporary , I just cant seem to get into modern country. I don't know what it is. give me some Men in Black or some Bosefus and its fine though. But after watching so many of your reviews and reactions to all the different genres' I think I owe it another try. So in the interest of free thinking here's a few I highly recommend a good listen and please hit me back with any modern country that will help change my opinion. Thanks and keep the greatness flowing. Mercedes Benz - Janis Joplin I don't care anymore - Phil Collins Back in Black - AC/DC Bury me in Smoke - Down Day and Night - Kid Cuddi Jekyll n Hyde - FFDP I'll never smoke weed with Willie again -Toby Keith Hurt - Johnny Cash
I completely agree. I'm not a country boy at all (my heart will always belong to metal) but even I have to say as far as great country songs go, it doesn't get any better than "The Thunder Rolls" by Garth Brooks. It's not good, it's not great, it's epic. Even if you hate country, it will end up on your playlist after the first listen.
riversquid Yea, the beginning violin to that song reminds me of greeting the cold morning, the sun beginning to show though still dark, getting into your cold car. But the sound of that echoed violin warms your insides. Yes, they should react to Garth Brooks "Much too Young" (to feel this damn old). Beautiful.
@George Strait I have been a fan for 40 years. And to be honest to me you are so much more than a singer. When I hear you sing I can feel the words inside my heart. I had a stroke in 2007 and I would listen to your songs while I was trying to relearn how to walk, eat, bath and I would try singing along with you as speech therapy. Because your words are smooth and clear, I could hear you, not so much the music like so many other artist put front and center, I was able to start saying the lyrics with you. Thank you for the help I needed at just the right time.
Love the reaction. I wouldn't put this in my rotation but the story was great. That's why you got to respect country music it's where all the great stories come from. I didn't grow up listening to country or in the country but the genre is so relatable.
Just found these guys and I cannot get enough. It is so much fun to see someone new appreciate something you have loved your entire life. A couple of these reviews have actually made me consider some of my favorite songs more intellectually. And, damn, they are CUTE!!
I get what you're saying and agree but there's context at play in the song you're probably referring to. Nothing I would ever say or want to hear said in my presence but given the true history of the south and his band mates at the time it worked then.
Rodeo is life, I have competed in professional rodeo for 13 years in 3 different events. The rodeo life on the road is tough. It leaves you broken and busted both physically and emotionally. I know guys that have lost almost everything, even their homes, wives or girlfriends. It gets in your blood and it gives you a drive for more. I know guys who have sold anything they could to make a rodeo, and guys drilling holes in their casts to fit spurs and we have all ridden with broken bones. Wonderful video guys glad to hear you are enjoying the country.
Kudos to you guys for doing some good, genuine country. This is one of my favorite George Strait songs. And you hit the nail on the head when you called him thug in this review lol. I've noticed that you guys focus a lot on lyrics and story telling. You should really check out Charlie Robison "Loving County" Awesome story telling and lyrics.

Check out some Blaze Foley or Townes Van Zant. The greatest country musicians you probably never heard of but should have.
James Williams hell yeah. I'm from Houston. I love rap - but, I love old good country,
I highly recommend the song Waylon did with Tony Joe White, Shakin the Blues. Tony Joe is my guy.
Love George Jones
Cheyenne is basically to Rodeo what Daytona is to Nascar
George is known as the King of Country. Love your channel.
porkchopsrv As a Native Texan we call him King George! Hail the King! 😍
Kelly Lewis well I think Garth Brooks is better that George straight
As a NATIVE Texan, Bob Wills is still the King.
GEORGE STRAIT IS WAY BETTER THAN GARTH!
@porkchopsrv, i thought Roy Acuff was The King of Country Music? :)
Your reaction to "Don't bother coming home" was hilarious! Great analysis too!
GS:" dont bother coming home"
The guys: *bursts out laughing* "DAMN"
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Sure, but they look confused when he talk about Cheyenne, cause they were not cowboys, neither am I, but hope it's about Cheyenne Frontier Days™.. (Moral of the song ~ don't quit to give your best, even if your heart is broken..)
The best part lmao
I swore I would never listen to goat ropin music .. being a rocker and a musician since I was 8 years old .. but I went to Alabama in my 20's and it all changed .. and George is definitely the King seriously he grows on you big time the more listen to him the more you love him .. he has so many fucking good songs its impossible not to love him and he is just plain and simply a great guy .
Since y'all are trying to have a little bit of everything I think y'all should check out Ryan Upchurch
Do "in color" by jamey johnson , its another amazing country song. you guys are amazing keep grinding
Nathan Barnett one of the best ever. Get chills listening to it
Agreed. React to it
Yes! Very very good song
Cmom guys , keep commenting on every video for them to play" in color "
Yes In Color awesome song
Garth Brooks says in his show he spends 2 hours flying through the air, running back and forth on stage and doing all kinds of stunts to get the crowd charged up and all George Straight has to do is walk out on stage, stand in one place and smile and the place goes wild.
I'm a massive George Strait fan, but let's give credit where it's due, there's a reason why Garth has won Entertainer of the Year so many times. The man puts on one of the best concerts ever.
I love seeing folks from different cultures respecting other cultures. Keep it up guys 👍
Savannah Bratton agreed!!!
This is a exactly what this song is about
And the last line is she found another man just like him. The circle never ends.
Brooks and Dunn Neon Moon
MrPain Games absolutely
MrPain Games great song!!
Oh my god yes please
You guys really open the eyes of many, thank you!
You both bring real value to music review videos. Just wanted to say great job! Peace from an American in Australia 💥
I just found your channel and I'm obsessed!!! As a lifelong country girl I'm loving your takes on these old school country songs! And really love that you called this a "pure country" song bc he was in the movie Pure Country 😊
George strait is the best country singer ever!
Yes he’s much better than Garth Brooks, because he’s real country.
Hank wins every time
No, waylon
Jasmin Alexander-Peck Goethe strait is good but George Jones is great
I god damn HATE reaction videos... I've been atching you guys for over 12 hours straight now. I love it!
Free Thinkers, man!
Omg!! This is my first reaction video and I am hooked!!!! These guys truly appreciate music and glad to know I am not the only one.
SUBSCRIBED. STRAIGHT FROM MUSIC CAPITOL OF THE WORLD MEMPHIS TENNESSEE.
Glad to know there are other people out there who realize society’s standards are absolutely 100% made up bullshit
Made me think of "Please don't take the girl" Tim McGraw...
“You know a woman wants her cowboy like he wants his rodeo.”
from Rodeo by Garth Brooks
I came to see if someone said this. If they haven't reacted to Garth Brooks' Rodeo, they need to asap. :)
Fun fact. George competed in PRCA roping. The man can ride.
Didnt know that
I didn't know that but it makes sense so he knows what hes singing about that's cool
He actually has his own roping show at his own ranch, has for years. Pays a lot of money out, too.
Like Chris Ledoux, they both started out rodeoing. Chris was a bronc rider, George did bull doghing. Chris started out just recording and selling his tapes at the rodeo. George started preforming at the rodeos. I think they actually met in Cheyenne.
Chris Ledoux was a pure, real cowboy like Strait, doesn't get much more country than that !!
Ken Hall amen brother
Amen brother. I live by where chris lives
Lived gd
Smart depiction Rick.
George Strait is the KING of country
George isn't one of the King's of country he is the king of country music he has 60 number 1's... But the chair is probably my favorite by him.
Austin M that sly classy George haha.
Austin M amen brother
Poor logic. Jethro Tull once won a best metal Grammy. Sometimes using popularity to decide standard just doesn't work. Thinking like that would make McD's the restaurant chain with the best food.
the chair then the firemen
Austin M I believe he's up around 67 #1s
George is not one of the kings ?HE is the KING!!!!
AMEN TO THAT
Dont get me wrong George Strait has a ton of good songs but I dont think that makes him the one and only king of country, theres quite a few other great country artists out there who I think have songs that can beat out some of George's best songs.
Agreed
Strait is a king but you cant forget Jones. Both them are kings of they own life.
Greatest thing I've seen on TH-cam in awhile. I'm from iowa, but live and rodeo in Texas. I listen to hip hop mainly but George Strait is a staple of rodeo life
Cheyenne "The daddy of them all" is basically the world series of the rodeo circuit. Cheyenne, Wy that is.
Lived in Cheyenne. Love/hate with Frontier Days. The population explodes for that week.
The Nat'l Finals Rodeo in Vegas is the Super Bowl of rodeo but Frontier Days in Cheyenne is definitely the Daddy of 'Em All.
Try "mama tried" by Merle Haggard. Great song by a guy singing about something real.
Love that song
Holden Smith George Strait sings real songs he's a champion roper
Hell yeah!
Cheyenne frontier days known as the daddy of em all is one of the biggest rodeos in the west held in Cheyenne wyoming
🎵I turned 21 in prison doing life with no parole
THE King of Country. Not one of. ;)
@Pointhunter75 I understand what you're saying for sure, I'm just saying that's what he's called. ;) Google "Who is the King of Country?" Lol!
Pointhunter75 he is known as King George.
Yes! Thank you! Funny to see people that never really heard his stuff..lol
Exactly! He IS The King of Country!
Strait called that man George Jones, but I tend to think its Strait.

I love your honest reactions to these country songs. You two are awesome
I love how you guys are sincerely analyzing this!
Mai Yeev Xiong Yes.. they aren't trashing it. They are trying to decipher what the song means.
Yall need to do troubadour by George strait
❤❤❤❤❤❤
Yaaaaaaassssssss
Yes!!!!- troubadour!!!!!!
Yes!! Troubadour!!
Absolutely do that one troubadour
George Strait is the most respected country singer of all-time!!! Willie Nelson may be a national treasure, but nobody has the clout that Strait does!! My favorite song of his is Ocean Front Property.
That's a great one, how did you pick a favorite?, He doesn't have bad songs just ones I like more then others, I really dig I hate everything, run, Amarillo by morning, poison, when the credits roll, so much like my dad
“He’s just in love with rodeo” 😂 so many circuit wife’s would agree with you!
GEORGRE STRAIGHT is the man lol. He's the real deal.
On a sidenote George Strait is the king of country music and if you look him up, he has a world record in any music genera for the most number one hits in the history of music
King George! Keep up the great work!
George Strait: Blue Clear Sky. Is a wonderful song as well very upbeat good country
Linkin Park- given up
The messenger
Slipknot- snuff
Devil in I
Psychosocial
Disclosure- Omen
Logic- metropolis
Disgusting
Maybe some Lana del Rey
That's it for now, Stay up!
Seven Spanish Angels - Ray Charles and Willie Nelson!!
10072018 I STILL listen to that song regularly
Earned a sub. This was a surprisingly good review, many people are put off by country, but you gave it a fair listen and found deeper meaning in the lyrics.
I like the shit out of y'all. Keep up the good work and God bless.
Neon Moon by Brooks and Dunn. It's a classic
Dirty Dan it sure is.
Dirty Dan agreed
God yes
B&D is amazing new country
I just don't understand how you don't have millions of subs yet. You guys put out some of the realist content on the web, let alone You Tube. I found your channel on the 46&2 review and binged from there. I have always been a fan of good music ,period, no matter the genre. I really get that coming from both of you as well. And this is coming from a kid who's 80's mixed tapes had everything from Sugar Hill Gang or Woodini to Phil Collins or Megadeath. So I respect the honesty when you say
'no, it's not gonna make the playlist but it is still a good well made song'. or how you just don't get some things.
Mercedes Benz - Janis Joplin
I don't care anymore - Phil Collins
Back in Black - AC/DC
Bury me in Smoke - Down
Day and Night - Kid Cuddi
Jekyll n Hyde - FFDP
I'll never smoke weed with Willie again -Toby Keith
Hurt - Johnny Cash
This cowboys hat or eight second ride Chris ledoux

This cowboys hat.
👏👏👏 love that song, saw him do it live in the 90's man it was epic!!
This Cowboy's Hat you gotta do this one
You guys would get a kick out of George Straight's "The Fireman"
Hell yeah !
👍👍👍👍
Or All My Exes 😄
Salina Roof or anyone of 57 other songs. 😀
Fireman is one of his best.
Late 90s to the early 2000s country are the best country.
Glue Guns & Roses
Amen
Absolutely!!!
Glue Guns & Roses 80' s country! Since late 70's.
Glue Guns & Roses YESS!!! It’s when country was country!!!
Facts.. I grew up on it, some good memories this music brings back. George strait is the king.. They should of reacted to "The Chair".
The thunder rolls - Garth brooks
I completely agree. I'm not a country boy at all (my heart will always belong to metal) but even I have to say as far as great country songs go, it doesn't get any better than "The Thunder Rolls" by Garth Brooks. It's not good, it's not great, it's epic. Even if you hate country, it will end up on your playlist after the first listen.
Jason Van Houten exactly dude
Or We shall be free.
Rodeo- Garth
The Dance
Garth Brooks - "Much too young to feel this damn old"
Mike Riddle I can't thumbs up this suggestion enough! Yes lord please!
riversquid Yea, the beginning violin to that song reminds me of greeting the cold morning, the sun beginning to show though still dark, getting into your cold car. But the sound of that echoed violin warms your insides. Yes, they should react to Garth Brooks "Much too Young" (to feel this damn old). Beautiful.
You guys had me cracking up...this is one of my favorite songs but hearing your interpretation of it was priceless..stay funny gentlemen
Hank Williams Jr. "A Country Boy Can Survive"
Cheyenne, Wyoming
Kuntry Vlogs Cheyenne Frontier Days.
Just found these guys and I cannot get enough. It is so much fun to see someone new appreciate something you have loved your entire life. A couple of these reviews have actually made me consider some of my favorite songs more intellectually. And, damn, they are CUTE!!
Tim McGraw - Don’t Take The Girl. If you guy’s can listen to that country song and not tear up I’ll be impressed.
GT Crain now that's a song with a story
GT Crain song is sad
Every damn time
I. Cry. Like. A. Baby.
I really wish they would of used this one, man, it would be such a wonderful reaction to see.
i vote this song too, the song is written so well.
Mammas Don't Let Your Babies Grow Up to Be Cowboys by Willie Nelson
And Waylon Jennings...
I yes!
@@dbacksfan09 that's no a country song. It's a cowboy song. -Cpl. Ray Pearson
Cowboy in the continental suit
Yes plz one of my favorites
David Allen Cole, you never call me by my name. Song is legendary
YES! The greatest country song ever written (mostly because of the last verse lol)
Yall better warn them about DAC though. These some good dudes and I don't want to see them getting offended cause they stumbled across the wrong song.
I get what you're saying and agree but there's context at play in the song you're probably referring to. Nothing I would ever say or want to hear said in my presence but given the true history of the south and his band mates at the time it worked then.
Fuckin good song
Rodeo is in your blood, it goes beyond obsession. People will sacrifice everything to feed that fire!!!!
Do Garth Brooks Friends in Low Places or George Strait All my exes live in Texas
i know im 2yrs late.. however. this is a story about the typical rodeo cowboy/racecar driver... i love u so much honey. BUT if i hurry i can still make that rodeo/race. tough life. ryan and george do such a great job of doing their best to decipher the lyrics. love the genuine reaction. follower for about a yr now.
