You two are always a pleasure to watch . You're always thoughtful , positive , inquisitive and willing to try something new. The calm chemistry between the two of you is excellent and the viewer feels like an additional part of your crew along for the adventure . And God you eat some excellent food . Keep doing what you're doing .
I didn’t want the video to end! The shots you captured were absolutely breathtaking. I also liked how there was minimal dialogue. In a way, it gave me the feeling of being there with you guys. Hopefully you make more videos in this style. I wish you guys nothing but safe travels as you continue to explore out there!
Btw, your content really helps me out whenever i’m having a bad day (which is way too often) thank you for sharing the life you and kyde both experience. It truly impacts me in a positive way.
I really love these videos, it is weirdly relaxing, like sitting on the bus and looking out the window. It is like we get to go along on the trip and just have a look around town with you guys. I am born and raised in sweden but I have never been to Copenhagen, but I kind of want to go now the next time I go back to visit sweden, like a little sidequest if I have the time :)
I love these kinds of videos, gives me a really relaxed feel to the trip that you three had. I will say it makes me crave your normal feel of videos as well but i really do love this style all the same, love the videos.
Love the sound of horseshoes on stone. This was good timing for a "silent" video, it really just works here, but I don't quite know why. Maybe it gives emphasis and contrast to a quick visit somewhere in a larger series (like an optional side quest). Or maybe it allows the gorgeous architecture to speak for itself. Looks beautiful, I'm inspired to go too!
You killed it with the artistic shots, Eric! Very cool! It was a fun change up from your routine. My husband came in part way through, and even though he wasn't seeing any of the iconic locations, he knew it was Copenhagen from the "feel". He's European (Dutch), and we live in Canada now, but he's been everywhere, so I always make him "guess the city" in videos. Apparently you really captured the authentic feeling of being there!
Really well shot, and a fantastic editing job, but your usual awesomely unique views on the world were missed. You can really notice the quality step-up with the new camera though.
We will be back to our normal verbose style of videos later this week. Hope you enjoyed this little change of pace, thanks everyone! Eric made a video in this style last year in Japan ► th-cam.com/video/AedlO3CAvko/w-d-xo.html Don't miss our final video from Sweden ► th-cam.com/video/pwNAUVqapLE/w-d-xo.html
Finally. Welcome to Copenhagen Kyde and Eric. Hope you enjoyed your stay. Get here in summer and the first Vor frelser church you should go up to the tower.
I went to the "independent city" inside Copenhagen as well. Very fascinating place.

Should have been there in the 80s or early 90s. It's actually more or less a shadow of its old self today. Source: myself. I visited there around 1990-91 as a kid (with family of course).
Amazing work! Hope you don't miss Malmö on your trip to Sweden! Really good food from all over the world in this beautiful, historical and international city!
If you don't change, you can't grow. I like your vlogs, but this was a nice change. It worked for me! I also noticed some more artistic shots being thrown in and even some timelapse. Love it!!!
Kinda experimental video, but to be hosnest from time to time I would love to see this again and I hoped to see this again(like Erics silent trip in Japan) it's very rare to HEAR the surroundings and places. Not for everyones taste but I really enjoyed it and thank you for this different kind of visiting a foreign country :)
Everytime I think of Copenhagen I think of Danny Kay and the movie Hans Christian Anderson. Of course, I then think of Anderson's classic works. If I every go to Copenhagen I would love to see Anderson's home I hear the country has preserved in his memory.
In 1970 the Navy gave me a free trip to Copenhagen. I was given the additional job of finding out how easy it might be to go to Sweden (where a few military members sought refuge). The team decided to go in civilian clothes - so we bought clothes, left our uniforms at the store - got on the ferry to Malmo, Sweden. We all tried aquavit for the first time. In Malmo, we went to a hotel restaurant for lunch. Then we went back to Denmark. Shortly thereafter, a shipmate fell in with bunch of Communists who help him get to Sweden - where he was arrested and kicked out of the Navy.
It's cool to watch this and seeing you visit the same places I've visited before. I'm always like: "I've been there", "I've done that". XD Still hoping to see you around Portugal.
I have been looking forward to this video. :) I am American but have lived in Copenhagen for 7 years and it's always interesting to see it from other foreigners perspectives. It was a cool idea to have very little speaking in this video. :) Anyways what is the name of the wrap place ya'll visited? It didn't look familiar to me, but I'd like to try it.
Great video. This is just solidifying in my soul that I wanna go to Copenhagen sooooooooooooooooo baddddd XD =D Ughhhh. Everything looks great. That sandwich looked Great, the buildings look great, the canals are great. And LOL, that was an Eric-sized bite FOR SURE with that wrap at the end. Holy s**t X'D X'D X'D X'D X'D :))
I like this video. Its a chance for you to focus on the images and sounds. You can get better at video story telling this way. Your friend seems very nice. It all looks wonderful even with the gloomy weather. The goose/duck showing off standing up with one leg was funny accidental insert. The food looks all yummy, but we need less angles staring right down Eric's throat? LOL No seriously though a better non-audibel food review system might be needed here. Or carry cards to write down a 1-10 rating. Kyde is a tad better at the facial cues. Well of course because she is the badass. Eric dodging awnings on the street was funny stuff; big man in a small small world. I almost felt sorry for that wrap getting put into the massive Eric jaws LOL. peace and love peace and love to two of my favorite humans
Looks like you guys saw all the fun things in Copenhagen! How did you like Christiania? I thought it was really interesting. Probably my favorite place I visited in Copenhagen just because it was so unique, but I know a lot of people who find it too "weird".
We did a walking tour with a local which was really informative. That’s probably what made it my favorite. Just hearing the history and stuff. Thanks for sharing
I'm so glad you were able to visit Copenhagen! I just wish you had included commentary. The "no talking" was annoying. Denmark is one of my favorite places. I wanted to know what you thought about everything. I hope you go back and visit the rest of Denmark.
As the focus of the visit was to enjoy it with our friend we didn't shoot a "full" video like normal. Sorry it was "annoying", but it was either this little glimpse into the visit or nothing at all. -E
Agreed, they had a very similar vibe. But there were some differences, kinda the same I feel like you get going from one city to another in a country. -E
Nice! Copenhagen is awesome and the danes are awesome drinking buddies!! I hope you ate some smörrebröd (Danish openfaced sandwiches loaded with all sorts of goodies! :D
When you blow the smokes, it feels like straight out of harry potter movie, don't know why 🙂. Love it, thanks kide and eric. Pushing in a new direction? It doesn't matter. Coming from you it will always be wonderful. keep up the good work.
I had to double check within the first 5 minutes that the title of this video wasn't QUIET Trip to Copenhagen! I enjoyed hearing all the ambient sounds! Your non-verbal storytelling through shots and editing is getting better with each video you produce! I wish that you guys had the time and budget to put out both a "quiet version" and a "regular version". It was like the lack of talking made the sounds and images sharper. I liked the contrast to your normal narrative style, but I had some questions about stuff you showed and would normally talk about, and missed your descriptive impressions and explanations. What was that strange hole concealed in the wall of the palace? What were the dishes you were tasting? Did the wrap wrapper taste at all like a flour tortilla? Do you have any normal talking footage from this trip, or did you consciously set out to make a quiet episode from the very beginning? This style reminded me of another TH-cam channel, PrimitiveTechnology, who films everything without talking, but also includes a CC text track explaining what's going on. Hey I also just noticed that you haven't used your regular travel intro since the Borneo trip! Is that because these videos are more recent with less added content during editing? Thanks for all your great work!
This is the second "silent" video we've done, the first was about a year ago and was actually inspired by Primitive Technology. I wish we had time to make more videos like this too, to be honest. I don't think many people are making things like this, typically videos without dialog are full of music overdubs and stuff, I really like letting people hear what a place actually sounds like. Oh, the intro music just isn't something I was digging anymore, I wanted to update it but could never find something else I liked so I just gave up, hahaha. -E
Yeah I remember your first "Quiet" video. I wouldn't want you to completely go this route, but the occasional foray into them makes for a nice change of pace. Thanks!
This was indeed very different from your other videos. I really like the dialogue you normally have, but this was so incredibly well made aswell, wouldnt mind to see more of these scenic versions of your videos aswell. :-)
YES GUY'S That is exactly what I would like to do soon ! The nearest way to bee a bit oute of the contry if living in Skåne! Nice to let the pictures talk! What was the yellow castle in the park? Did not record nice that, ather way's it was like it use to bee! BarbroSweden
:-) ... I THINK YOU CAUGHT THE POSITIVE VIBE OF Copenhagen nicely! Don't believe that the marching soldiers are tinsoldiers. They are HIGHLY trained :-) Well done! (I agree a bit of info along with it would have been nice).
Short and sweet vid guys!!!! Love the old architecture and the graffiti!!!! 👌 p.s I hope I don't get that troll again like the last time I commented!!!!

I get what you were trying to do here, but not a fan of the non-talking. =( Hearing your happy voices, even when you're criticizing a dish or something, is a huge part of why I enjoy watching your videos.
Copenhagen looks cold, dull, boring, dank, and almost Communist - sorry guys, and thank you :) The only good things to come out of Denmark are Lego, Bacon, and a Viking Bloodline - speaking as a Brit
Haha, having literally been to communist places I don't really see the connection. We thought it was a pretty city. But you aren't wrong about Lego being awesome! -E
Eric you and Kyde are probably the most awesome guys to watch when it comes to travel Vlogs on youtube, but take it from me, and I too have travelled the world, but I doubt even the Belgiums care to take a vacation to Denmark! Speaking as an artist though, I did appreciate the Edvard Eriksen's 'Little Mermaid' p.s. when I said 'Communist' I probably should have said 'stark' lol

This was pleasant...I love your regular videos but the silent videos have their own special charm
damn, Eric really stepping up his cinematography in this one. Good job dude and keep up the cool videos guys!!
I really love these videos, it is weirdly relaxing, like sitting on the bus and looking out the window. It is like we get to go along on the trip and just have a look around town with you guys. I love how relaxing this video was!
Really well shot, and a fantastic editing job, but your usual awesomely unique views on the world were missed.
You can really notice the quality step-up with the new camera though.
I really love these non-talking videos you do sometimes, need to do more of them :D
We will be back to our normal verbose style of videos later this week. Hope you enjoyed this little change of pace, thanks everyone!

We upload videos in advance sometimes depending on our workflow. Also, Patreons get early access by a few days at least. -E
Wow. !” Very different. An ambient vid 🤔. ?” Eric makes a great camera crane being so tall 👍
Looks amazing, great camera work and well edited also =)
Finally. Welcome to Copenhagen Kyde and Eric. Hope you enjoyed your stay. Get here in summer and the first Vor frelser church you should go up to the tower.
The format experiment was a success!
Their rail system looks amazing. Wish we had something that advanced here in the states.
It's ok, but a joke against East Asia. Haha. -E
I went to the "independent city" inside Copenhagen as well. Very fascinating place.

Ah, ja: Christiania 'Fristad' !
I like the normal vlogs, but man, these quiet/ambient vlogs are such a treat.
Amazing work! Hope you don't miss Malmö on your trip to Sweden! Really good food from all over the world in this beautiful, historical and international city!
We are saving it for our next visit!
This is one of my favorites of all your work and that's saying something.
Glad you enjoyed! -E
If you don't change, you can't grow. I like your vlogs, but this was a nice change. It worked for me! I also noticed some more artistic shots being thrown in and even some timelapse. Love it!!!
Thanks! I like trying new things now and again, videos like this are a lot of fun to put together. -E

I have to say the new camera is awesome! Everything is so crisp. Also Kyde necklace was so distracting lol

I enjoyed the video a lot. Makiko seemed like so much fun.
I love these type of videos!! 👏🏻😃
I like the camera quality / settings.
Love the ending where the kid on the train was staring at you guys haha
She asked her dad "can they understand us?!" in whatever language she spoke. Her dad laughed and explained it to us. -E
This was awesome! I loved this style. And hello friend Makiko! Welcome to the channel! 😀

Wow after following you guys for some time - I must admit it feels wierd to see my own town on your channel :D :P
I didn't know a quick trip meant a quiet trip. Thoroughly enjoyed this one as much as the last one!
Used to work like a 1 min walk from the first bridge in Copenhagen you showed in the clip :o
Eivor my top artist of all time lives in Copenhagen.
What was that underground pillar place ? A grave ?
It's an art installment actually.
No way! As in paintings?
A real Danish,in Denmark ! Enjoy it Kyde & Eric !
So cool!

@ 00:01 is that Bjork?
All Björk, all the time.
I love Björk too!

I'm actually not sure, we just dropped in on it randomly. -E
I know! It's called Wrap House near Kobenhavn V. -Kyde
Haha cool that's close to where I live. Thanks for remembering, Kyde. :)
Great video. This is just solidifying in my soul that I wanna go to Copenhagen sooooooooooooooooo baddddd XD =D Ughhhh. Everything looks great. It was ok, it certainly stuck out. Looks fun for kids who want to skate. Felt a bit like San Francisco. We weren't there very long, to be honest. -E
We did a walking tour with a local which was really informative. That’s probably what made it my favorite. Just hearing the history and stuff. Thanks for sharing
Lovely video. 🚎🚌🚍🚉👫👭😁😂
Nice of makiko to join you guys too!!!!
Yea, it was fun!
Where is the Gothenburg/Göteborg vid?? Was really looking forward to that..........Cph aint to shabby though;))
We didn't do much but spend time with friends on Gothenburg, so we didn't shoot anything there! -E
I'm so glad you were able to visit Copenhagen! I just wish you had included commentary. The "no talking" was annoying. Denmark is one of my favorite places. I wanted to know what you thought about everything. I hope you go back and visit the rest of Denmark.

Cool video. Loved it!
Did Denmark feel a lot different in comparison to Sweden? For me, they feel like two extensions of the same country.
Agreed, they had a very similar vibe. But there were some differences, kinda the same I feel like you get going from one city to another in a country. -E

Too cute!🙂
Nice! Copenhagen is awesome and the danes are awesome drinking buddies!! I hope you ate some smörrebröd (Danish openfaced sandwiches loaded with all sorts of goodies! :D
Now THAT was an Eric size bite! (lavosh wrap) lol :D
Interesting almost silent video, shame about the weather!! Those burritos/wraps looked healthy. When are you coming to Poland or have you been?
Haven't been yet, not sure when we'll make it but we want to!
When you blow the smokes, it feels like straight out of harry potter movie, don't know why 🙂. Love it, thanks kide and eric. Pushing in a new direction? It doesn't matter. Coming from you it will always be wonderful. keep up the good work.

Bravo
pls talk :( it is what makes these videoes great. Greatings from Copenhagen :)
Some people say we talk too much! Haha. Things will be back to normal in our next videos. -E
Kyde and Eric It's a nice change of pace like one of the videos Eric did hitchhiking.
This was indeed very different from your other videos. I really like the dialogue you normally have, but this was so incredibly well made aswell, wouldnt mind to see more of these scenic versions of your videos aswell. :-)

You've now spent more time in my country's capital than I have.
Kyde & Eric are you guys going to hit up a McDonalds and show us the food in any upcoming videos!!?? 😀😀🍔🍟👍🏻
Haha, we haven't even been inside of one in probably 6 months. -E
Nice video work!
No Voice over?
Looks beautiful in Denmark but I miss the Kyde and Eric commentary.
It'll be back soon! -E
I really don't understand why most videos from you aren't flooded with likes...
Beautiful vlog.
Love the video!!
Greetings from Wales both. I like your new approach to editing. Hope you are having a good time here in the cold UK.
@6:55 Funny that the soldiers had to be protected by a cop...
Haha, musicians.
I miss Kyde talking
She's talking right now hahahaha
:-) ... I THINK YOU CAUGHT THE POSITIVE VIBE OF Copenhagen nicely! Don't believe that the marching soldiers are tinsoldiers. They are HIGHLY trained :-) Well done! (I agree a bit of info along with it would have been nice).
I'm going to refer to these silent episodes as Eric's Flatulence Adventures.
Short and sweet vid guys!!!! Love the old architecture and the graffiti!!!! 👌 p.s I hope I don't get that troll again like the last time I commented!!!!
Haha, don't let the trolls get you down! -E
Kyde and Eric ✌️enjoy Europe!!!!!
Great vid!
the video was kinda boring for my taste, I like the old format better.. like talking to the camera and give information
Haha, don't worry we just did this while our friend was with us. Normal videos will be back later this week. -E
Kyde and Eric okay :)
I can't wait to hear what you think of my country!
It was a novelty - i enjoyed the change
Not a HUGE fan of your silent vlogs since I like hearing your voices...BUT..still entertaining nonetheless and it’s definitely good for your international fans!
...kinda like Tom & Jerry...they never needed to be dubbed. 🤔
i was not expecting the it is Wednesday my dudes, nice
Was Makiko in Stockholm or Gotenberg already, or did Makiko fly in from Japan to visit Sweden, and you guys joined up.
Also, Eric, were you dipping that Pork into Lingenberries?
BTW: The minimalist video was great. You guys don't have to talk in every video. You let Copenhagen do the talking for you.
She lives in Japan, but came to spend New year's with us in Gothenburg. -E
Eric, has Kyde joined a new gangster rap crew with that chain? Looks cool though.
Great video but please, we need to hear your opinions on this stuff.
😯 what was that kyde n friend holding arms?🙈..shouldnt it be u eric..im like that silent mood..😂😂..its SsssHhhh!! Time..🙊..man u guess just braffed those pastry down in a heartbeat 😲😲
I initially thought those were crepes that lady was making, so when Kyde said "She's making wraps right now!" I heard "She's making crap right now!" xD
Or is that what she actually said? :o
Hahaha, def ate wraps! -E
Needs more icing...
To be fair, that could be said for basically everything. -E
Kyde and Eric It is a general life goal, yes. 😀
Damn Eric you deep throat that burrito!!
You know how I do
the duck doesn’t have one leg.
Correct, he had two. -E
Silent...no comment.and 👍
Yep no need a good gear to make an awesome and enjoyable video Mr Eric well done :), by the way... your beautiful friend she's single?
Haha, she's married.
Your Japanese friend is SO beautiful! :)
hahaha yea she's pretty!
Did you smoke weed?
The quietest vlog you have done... ssssshhhhh....
Search our channel for my chichibu video, it's done in this style but I'd say much more fleshed out and well made. -E
Ah, jeg *) ...!!! ]
I get what you were trying to do here, but not a fan of the non-talking. =( Hearing your happy voices, even when you're criticizing a dish or something, is a huge part of why I enjoy watching your videos.
It's not a normal thing we plan on, just directed by the circumstances this time. Thanks for the feedback though! -E
I bet you guys are missing Japanese Food about now????
You might say that, hahaha. -E
Not a fan of this type of video but I gave you a thumbs up anyway 🤷🏼♀️
Haha, thanks! -E
Kyde and Eric
lol... I guess I just like to hear your sweet voices 🤪... looking forward to more Europe vids! Cheers
Copenhagen looks cold, dull, boring, dank, and almost Communist - sorry guys, and thank you :)
The only good things to come out of Denmark are Lego, Bacon, and a Viking Bloodline - speaking as a Brit
Speaking as an artist though, I did appreciate the Edvard Eriksen's 'Little Mermaid'
p.s. when I said 'Communist' I probably should have said 'stark' lol
doubt it's any colder or danker than Britain, a little more left wing and boring is in the eye of the beholder, from a UK citizen
Well we definitely have more shades of grey in Britain, that much is certain!
So Awkward...
