Glad the helicopter didn’t bother you guys. They may have been searching for someone. I fly on a similar version of that helicopter in Alaska doing search and rescue. We try not to bother folks flying low but on a search I found a river that became one of my favorites to fish. 210th rescue squadron. Best in the world. That others may live!

My son and I were camped on a bar in the W. We took the canoe out across the river to explore. A white helicopter with a red stripe flew soo low over our camp it blew off the tarp I had tied down shading our ice chest and blew dirt all over our gear. 😤. Good thing he didn't land 👊💪🤪. I would have had a few choice words for his Richie rich ass.

Do you plan to fish Detroit lake derby in May? I would like to show you a trout fishing method I've never seen you use.
There is a damn in my area with a air force base close by. One time a jet flew by at like 50 feet high and blew some ladies ear drum out. She literally sued them. Pretty sure pilot lost his job also. Crazy how loud they are. It's also crazy the jet is long gone by the time the sounds arrives.

The orange quartz is quartz flux. Its from a seam of quartz intrusion into rock layers. The coloration is sulfides that contain precious metals like gold, silver, and copper.

PLEASE put that anchor in the bottom of your boat, before it falls out and hangs up in a rapid!! Anchors in rapids are a major cause sunken drifboats, and will still wreck a raft.
Videos never do the rapids or water you are making your way through any justice! Not to mention how well you hold yourself while rowing! Seen you at the river! I was the goober staring at ya 😆 i eventually yelled hello we were stoked! I fished four days and only hooked one with morning mists guide service 😅

Looks like a quartz vein with iron staining. If you soaked it in muriatic acid the yellow/orange staining would come off.
