white asparagus; cover sprouting asparagus w/ mulch or black tarp and harvest a few weeks later, no chlorophyl so extra mild
Little is the ultimate outdoor companion, worth his weight in gold
Jordan, the white asparagus is called Spargel and is very popular in Germany and Austria in the spring.
It is white as the grower constantly keeps the spears covered with mulch until they harvest it. As such, it never creates the chlorophyll that makes plants green.

Seasoning tip:
Apply seasonings coarsest first, then the finer stuff. The Bigger herbs tend to bounce off if you do it last.

Well 2day I was sturgeon fishing and snagged up and broke off them while I was reeling it in my top piece of my rod came off and now I don’t have a sturgeon rod😭😭. But this vid my my day much better thx for sharing with us jordan

would br great if you did a tutorial on fly fishing ...floating flies for steelhead and trout and sinking flies for salmon and ?????maybe steelhead....the flies used and the techniques you use with one handed fly rods and spey rods ....for sure it would be educational for me...thanks in advance Jordan.

I love the cooking portions of your videos! My fiancé and I are starting to do the same thing every time we go out! White asparagus is just green that’s kept from the sun, we used to grow it commercially on my grandparents farm, everyone always liked it the best cause it was sweeter than green or purple. Love what you do with this channel and the addicted channel! Keep it up brother man!

Id love to see you test your addicted products down here in the puyallup river, carbon river, near orting wa were the steelhead are not so plentiful but are here. Love your vids but I challenge you to see how good your products really are in less plentiful rivers that also have murky color most of the year. That would be a epic video. If anyone could do it it would be you and little. Lol.

I fly fish as often as I can out here in NM all the time and it varies if I catch any or not. Today I wasn’t so successful.
I enjoy camping cooking and hiking in. That elk did look really good.
I just ordered a new hot tent and its huuuge i went from a 3p to an 8p. Im excited for some pnw adventures this spring and summer

Also just a random tip make sure u know the type of tree u make chopsticks outta some trees can be pretty toxic aswell as like maple and oak allergies n shit weirdly enough I'm allergic to the maple trees out here.
