Why 2015 seems more photorealistic and in theory because the engine is more updated it should have better graphics in the sequels, did the devs do it on purpose?But the reflections of the cars in the heat are much better like giving a much more metallic impression than the other two that look more like a matte with gloss
I think it’s because 2015 is always at night/early morning so the devs where able to get away with having lower quality models and textures in certain areas that are in darkness and because of that they could increase the lighting, shadows and reflection quality in the areas that are actually visible, not to mention, the map is much smaller compared to Payback and Heat in the sense that it isn’t completely open with fields and desert you can just cut through. That’s also probably the reason why 2015 runs the best out of the all the recent NFS games.

Well that's because almost every single one used the file called "For_Mus_C" Which its in reality a Nascar Ford Thunderbird engine sound; same applies with the Mopar muscle cars in Carbon; but, they use another variant of the Ford GT's Engine sound (identified as "For_GT_C").

To Ghost's defense, the R34 in Heat sounds a lot closer to a factory spec R34 than the one in NFSU2 does.
