It seems that UNITE developers since Payback, 2015 and Heat made some good sounds for modern cars like Mustang, Camaro and Corvette with the ZR1 engine sound on the Venom GT from Rivals.
they didn't remove the big foot stomping gear shift, I really hate the shifting sounds in this game plus the camera shake whenever it shifts is also annoying, take those two things off and then I'd like it even more.
I personally think the gear shift sound is fine, although i would agree it would be better without it, NFS 2015 did this just fine, no loud shifting sounds. And yes i also agree, i wish they removed the camera shake when it shifts, I always found that useless and distracting. It would be much smoother if they removed that.
A good amount of the cars sound much better now. Murcielago when revving and letting off the throttle, the sound it produces feels so unnatural and inaccurate.
They should have kept the vanilla V8 noise imo, not a fan of the NFS Most Wanted 2005 sound in modern games because it just doesn't sound that good imo because it's literally from 2005, maybe even earlier when they were recording sounds.

This mod makes the game look more like NFS Payback
Because of the sky, in original game it looked like a nuke had exploded in the sky

I wonder why they changed the Murcielago engine cause in Heat UNITE they used the soundfile from Carbon 🤔
