A piece of advice to get used to the friction zone, on a stand still let go of the clutch slowly without giving it gas. You’ll feel the bike move forward slowly without giving it gas. Do it a couple of times until you get used to it and that should be it.
knowing there's many people out there who struggle at first with learning how to ride makes me less scared to learn myself. you've got it, man! thank you for the video!
bro deadass, im exposing myself rn but i got ahead of myself when first starting out and almost crashed bad, went into the opposite side of the rode (thank god there was no oncoming traffic). I bought my bike in august of this year, the almost crash happened mid august. havent touched my bike out of fear until recently when yamaha annouced the R9. it reignited my drive to ride. Now im currently working on how to find friction zone, im still that much of a beginner and i thought it would be cool to ride to work on it. wtf was i thinking.
Looks like you're figuring it out, but when in 1st gear and going very slow (under 10-12mph), it's ok to feather the clutch a bit to smooth out the power. At those speeds you control power delivery in fine increments with the clutch. Don't worry about extra wear on the clutch because once you get some experience under your belt you won't be feathering as much as you won't spending much time at those speeds. The 1st gear jerkiness is really only a beginner thing because of the very slow speeds. Btw, nice looking bike! The CFMoto was my first choice. I ended up with something else but I think that's a great bike to start on. Good luck!
Are you insane? This is NOT a "great job". What are you going to say when a guy like this wrecks and gets injured or injures someone else. I can't even shift the thing and he is all over the place.
Find the friction zone on your clutch and be gentle letting your clutch out. You shouldn't really need to apply any throttle; with time, it'll become pretty natural! I would highly recommend looking into a safety course where they drill you on clutch control the entire first day with low speed maneuvers, turning, braking, etc. Looks like a good bike though! Ride safe ✌️
Shift at 6800-7200 rpms. Don't be afraid of bike or controls. Rear brake is my primary rarely do I ever touch the front of mine. Look into your turns. I do turns from stop in 1st gear while moving 2nd gear. 3rd gear good for 54 mph.
Brother, this bike is great. I'm just worried about your safety. You should find an experienced driver to teach you some riding experience, or find an empty space without cars to spend a whole day practicing, and then go on the road after you are proficient. This will reduce the occurrence of danger.
Kinda like that for me first too, but figure out where the friction zone is without throttle, just to learn where its at on your clutch. dont need throttle until you get into the friction zone so you will get better with time. And my bike was boggy and clunking around on my first few rides lol. your learn throttle control and definitely when you're in first its throttle and feathering the clutch.

Well done. You'll get this with time and practice.

First ride, learning the ropes, don't apologize! It'll come, you'll look back on this and smile!
You got this bro!!

Dude you should take a couple riding courses and practice in a big parking lot , teaching yourself to ride on the street can be a bad time
