I'm a BIG book nook maker. I got this one as a birthday gift (not one I would have bought for myself). I opened the box this morning, took one look at the directions and immediately put it back in the box and headed to TH-cam to find help. This kit is a much different quality from the ones I've been doing and it looks like it's going to be a challenge. I'm thankful I found your channel and help!

What a brilliant tutorial this is… I was looking for a book nook, a few weeks ago, for my daughter who collects old books; I had no idea you could get a kit and make your own! Not that it’s much cheaper to DIY, but so worth it, knowing you can put so much love into making it yourself. I’m so glad I saw this before buying one ready made!

Just started doing the book nook, how come the first light line starts at 1, but the rest don't?

Welcome 🤗 I’m glad you found my little channel 💖 xx The lamp lines are numbered where the lamp bulbs are fixed to the panel, so the first one starts at 1 as the first lamp bulb is positioned on the panel where as the second and third lamp line the first lamp bulb actually starts off the panel so is kind of floating so they start at number 2 where it actually needs to be attached xx If you see the diagram on the bottom of page 5 it shows the first bulb of the second lamp line suspended xx Does that make sense 💖 xx
