I have heard of this product but haven’t tried it as yet x Mainly because it is harder to get hold of here in the UK and because of this is more expensive as there are import duties etc xx Have you tried it ? If so what do you think of it ?

Oh no what a shame ! I’m not sure why it would have gone dull as I’ve never had this happen to me before with this varnish. Oh no 😱 what a nightmare ! Ok let’s think I’ve tried looking and I can’t see replacement parts for these x I’m not an electrician but sounds like we’re going to have to get creative here x Each lr44 battery is 1.5v which means we need 4.5v to light up the lights right x So you need a small battery pack that carries 4.5v x Now to my thinking it doesn’t need to be lr44’s it could be AAA’s couldn’t it ? you can get these from Amazon then connect the wires in the same way you would x just need to test which way round they connect x They should only work one way x This is the ones I found for example www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B081C7FYY4/ref=sw_img_1?smid=A32QLRNWL3PNTU&psc=1 xx The battery back won’t fit in the little draw but you can fit it underneath or to the side but at least your book nook will light up xx It’s up to you but this is my best solution I could come up with you might have a different idea xx Hope you get it fixed hun it’s a lot of work for it not to light up after all that xx

Sorry sometimes they come up quicker than you actually mean them too ! It’s hard to time them x I try hard but I’m not the best at this editing stuff sorry xxx

I’ve checked the video as I was sure it did show but it appears to freeze at the application stage ! Does yours freeze also ? Not sure why this is happening now ? It used to show a section where I wiped the excess gold off with a wet wipe as I went along, I add the mica with a brush then gently wipe the surrounding area with a wet wipe or slightly damp lint free cloth. Hope this helps sorry it’s not clear anymore 💖 xxxx

Thank you 💖🥰 xx I’m so happy I could help xx The glue in the small bottle is Mat Mod Podge x I brought an empty precision needle tip glue bottle off of Amazon and I keep refilling it with the glue xx I like the needle ones because the needle helps it stop clogging and it’s fine enough for all the tiny bits and pieces in these types of projects xx Hope this helps xx There are many to choose from off of Amazon depending on how many you want etc xx

Ah thank you she loves joining in 🤭 xx Her name is Tinker xx She often walks off with pieces on her tail and feet 🤣 xx I often leave pieces for 15-20 minutes or more depending on how much surface there was to glue to x Patience is key I know it’s tempting but too soon and pieces can rip or ruin so I try to wait a little longer than I need to x Smaller pieces are faster and I can work around without knocking them x
