I just realized that this is for each of us. The quote from Isiaih is for all of us, Jew and Gentile alike. To hear Jesus quote this to Mary is very special. Suppose it was a quote that you and your mother and father were used to saying together? My mother used to quote the Old and New Testament passages to me and my siblings all the time. That is how I learned much of what I know about the bible. She loved quoting the Psalms and the book of John. I remember her telling me many times going to be angry to "not let the sun go down on your anger" and that made me wish to reconcile a good many times. Ephesians 4: 26. My mother, though we did not get along well all the time, was wise in ways I never gave her credit for.
The first episode seemed really boring until Jesus showed up, this scene, and the tears came. I had so many dreams about Jesus afterwards... I actually began trying to read Luke from the beginning (not even knowing this came out of Luke, I just really like this Gospel since Acts is its sequel) and fell asleep just wanting Jesus the way she had him and I felt that warmth. The dreams are fuzzy, it just seemed like He was there. I did finish Luke 1 at least before falling asleep lol.
My top favourite scenes ♥️😢 along with Jesus with Nicodemus on the roof when they hug and the man by the pool waiting to be healed. Thank you John for sectioning out the scenes to go with CFM 😊
Imagine the struggle people go through suffering from mental illness. It's as if you were possessed by a demon. Schizophrenia or severe depression is very painful. There's a beautiful channel on "SBSK", where you can listen to interviews with people with various mental and physical issues.

Not able to follow all this but you're right about her importance. I am Catholic and never heard of the "Apostle to the Apostles" until I began researching and then watching "The Chosen". In Catholic school we definitely learned she was a prostitute (was she not? I thought this was actually what she resorted to for survival? See, the slander against her is still alive and well). It sounds like you are mentioning some Da Vinci Code-like stuff here, which would be quite interesting if correct. She is certainly portrayed as an Apostle in "The Chosen," which I think is how God intended it.
