Sooooo watched it again today sober 👍🏼 I went to the settings and put the playback speed to 0.75 much better. I would recommend this speed to any other old dodders out there 😂
Hahahaha! We love this suggestion, might even pin it to the top of the page as it may be helpful for others 🤣 Appreciate you taking the time to watch & comment, Patrick! 🥰
Found this a super interesting upload, loved it😍 Thought the edit was good & the original speed..liked the fast edits at the start when heading to the Uber 👍. Glad it was better than just an A to B 😆. Fair play to Steve for doing the early morning cup run 👏🏻👏🏻. Your videos are still one of my favourite weekend things 🥰👍😁
I believe we might have been on the same ship to Stockholm and back to Tallinn December 2016. ABBA Dancing Queen / Tallink Baltic Queen sticks in my memory of the trip. We spent the long day in Stockholm, pretty much walked and visited sites the entire day, and returned on the ship enjoying the grand buffet. On the return trip we also did the visit to the captain's deck. It was amazing to see how the ship is navigated.
Another quality video you guys sorry i haven't left any comments in your last couple of videos i have been having trouble with my Gmail account all sorted now though, and i have just actually caught up on your last couple of uploads as always brilliant videos you guys 👍👋👌👋
Hey Chris! 👋 Thanks so much (and absolutely no need to apologise), glad you are enjoying our recent videos - our next one coming out in a few hrs is one of our favourites so hope you like that one! Lovely to hear from you & hope you are well 🥰
awesome! taking the cruise tomorrow and this definitely helped me decide what to bring and what not to.... i was also a bit scared as I have never been on a cruise this long. great video
These cruise ferries runs on time tables and routes. They are much more fun than taking a plane, also you can take cars on them. I regularly see big cargo trucks use these cruise ferries to get around on longer distances like tallin to Stockholm like in this video. These type of ships are used world wide due to how useful they are.
Hello Kristy and Steve. thnx a lot for the video. we will take the same cruise on the 10th january this year. What surprised me a lot was; there wasn't ice pieces in or on the see. Was it too cold for this cruise in February? I am writing from Turkiye, Kuşadası by the way
Hello! We took this cruise on 30th November (2023) , it was absolutely freezing to us 🥶 I think maybe January would be quite similar. Have a great trip and thank you for watching!
Really good video. Thank you!!! Just wondering, what time were you allowed to board? Our accomodation check-out is 11am and the ferry departure is 6pm so we will have a few hours slumming it.
Hello! I think it was about 90mins prior to departure time we could board - we also took the 6pm ferry. Its a nice, quiet terminal with lounges and chairs everywhere so you could just hang out there after checking out of your hotel. Enjoy & thanks for watching! ☺️
Good video, but wierdly expensive… cause if we compare Tallink Silja Line’s prices from Helsinki to Stockholm (yes, same company) that would have been only 60 to 100 euros for two…
Hello! Oh wow that is quite a lot cheaper from Helsinki isnt it. There were more affordable cabins we could have chosen, I think we went the mid-range option. Prices may fluctuate depending on the season to I guess. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment! ☺️
@@PPTheGamer_ well, in my opinion (having Club One Gold, travelling about 19 times per year onboard Tallink Silja Line) Baltic Queen and Victoria I are both also nice cruise ferries! Silja Serenade and Symphony are both nice, but sometimes you need something new, or different. I think that Victoria I is somehow even better, than Baltic Queen is, now she is operating between Helsinki and Tallinn, but luckily shes returning to it’s own line on summer 😍
Two way cruises from Helsinki to Stockholm start from 89 per cabin + ~15€ per person on cheapest cabin of cheapest days. Not sure one way. Full food package (2 evening buffees and 2 breakfast buffees) is 124€.
Hello! Im not sure if you can purchase tickets at the terminal. Think the journey was 18hrs...this info is in the video (cant recall off the top of my head sorry!) Enjoy your trip 🛳️
Haha valid comment there Patrick! It was honestly pretty chaotic to film (and edit) as we were so excited. Glad the reality and authenticity came through! 🤣
Yup, we just did one Helsinki video ☺️ Such a great city, we'd love to revisit in the winter time and see the snow (it was 31 degrees celsius when we were there 🥵)

I’m going from Tallinn to Stockholm in March. Amazing video!

I hope you planning to visit Göteborg as well!
We were only in Stockholm this time, it was a stop over en route to Tromso, Norway ☺️
Great video guy,😂
Thanks GJ!

So you can bring food and drinks onto the ship from outside?
Yes 👍🏼

And don't forget how much better those ferries from Helsinki are! (talking from experience)

You are right. Silja serenade and symphony are much cooler cuz they have a promenade and quite more modern interior. And they are cheaper too

I’m planning trip from Stockholm to Tallin. May I ask if you can buy the ticket at the terminal. How long is the trip? Thanks!

Were the food or dinner expensive?
We paid around €30 for dinner. It was a little expensive - definitely bring snacks 👍🏼
How much was the food in the restaurant?
We cant recall, sorry! I think it was around €30 for everything
😍😍😍😍
Hello! 🥰
Are pools free there?
No the pool was not free to use on this ship unfortunately!
@@KristyandSteve ☹
Sorry guys but it’s absolutely forbidden to use kettle onboard the skip because safety reason !!
Ooh we didn't know this! 🤔
@@KristyandSteveit’s only on those very big cruise ships it’s possible. Not in Scandinavia
Ahhh ok noted, thank you for letting us know! ☺️
Tallink prices are crazy.
Agree
Not sure what is going here 🤔
I think I will watch it tomorrow,
When I am sober
Thanks guys looks bloody cold ❄️

ive been on this ship and it i came from stockholm to estiona
What did you think of it?
@@KristyandSteve THE SHIP WAS SO COOL
You missed out on Tallinn to Helsinki!
We did! We started our trip in Helsinki back in August (and loved it) Is that Ferry better than the Tallinn to Stockholm?
100% Love the Helsinki Tallinn ferry. Are your Helsinki videos still online?
Ive been on both ferries. You see Finns in a different light after Tallinn Helsinki ferry. Not in a bad way. Im married to a Finn.
Yup, we just did one Helsinki video ☺️ Such a great city, we'd love to revisit in the winter time and see the snow (it was 31 degrees celsius when we were there 🥵)
Am from estonia tere!
Tere! 🇪🇪❤️
Looks so outdated and ugly. Way too expensive that boat
Was pretty pricey! Good experience though
@@KristyandSteve for this kind of a price it should be more modern
That ship is old and they are not investing anything in it. Not clean, not safe even anymore.
