The bus from Narvik to Tromsø actually has another bus stop Bromsgård which is much closer to the train station. Bromsgård is a 269 meter walk from the train station (compared with a 1.1 km walk to the bus station).
loved that one guys stuff got really serious with Steve when he realised his beer wasn't there absolutely quality didn't half make me chuckle that, and I could tell how stressed you was at the end kristy to getting all the layers on to having just a vest on when you was on the bus just watching made me feel stressed 😂😂 anyway nice one guys catch you in the next one 👋👌👍
Great Vid as always, train views looked stunning 😍. I’ve made a note never to get in Kristy’s way of getting a bus 😂😆 🚌. Great outtakes at the end. Super pleased to read you are on your travels again 🇹🇭 🥰. I honestly don’t want your travels to end.
You are so kind Adz, thank you so much! Oh this video only 'touched' on how stressed I actually was getting to bus, was about 30mins of absolute chaos 🤣 Appreciate you & your ongoing support ❤️
This was a stunning video, super impressed. Looks an amazing place to visit, will add to my “cold list”. Loved the 🐦 & “it’s not that expensive”clips 🍺🍺 😆😍. Great videoing & drone shots (Steve) 👍👏🏻🥰 “Omg” Next week looks Hilarious 🐕 🐕 “Steve! Steve!” 🤣😂😍🥰
Cheers Adz! It sure is an incredible place to visit and to experience the extreme sub-arctic temps 🥶 , definitely add Tromso to your list. We just finished editing next weeks video and omg its so stupid funny 🤣 Hope you enjoy it!
Great vlog guys! We do love an overnight train too 😄 the seating area in your cabin looks better than our tiny stool on the Santa Claus express haha, look forward to seeing your next few vlogs on Tromso!!
Thanks guys! Yes we were pretty happy with the cabin and the seating area on this train - by far the best sleeper we have done! Didnt include train beers like your one to Lapland did, unfortunately 🤣
Hello! We used the sj.se website. We have had people comment saying they were unable to book this route for 2024/2024 so we aren't sure if it's still operating? Hopefully you manage to find a way to take this journey as it was such a brilliant way of travelling Norway ☺️
There's also a fourth option when travelling on the night train to upper Norrland: seats. By far the cheapest and what I used as a college student up north.
Hi,im Swedish🙂 I noticed that Kristy thought Some parts of Sweden was boring 💤 💤 and i guess that's true because 60% of Sweden is covered by forest and Sweden in the winter is not that funny it's just dark and cold 🥶🌘You should visit us in the summer from June to September,by then it's warmer and light all the time😁😎
Hello! 👋 We would LOVE to visit in the Spring or Summer. We already have plans to revisit that part of the world and are looking forward to it! Thank you for watching & taking the time to comment ☺️
G'day Kristy and Steve, watching this video from sunny Queensland, beautiful one day, perfect the next. Well I have been trying to book the same route Stockholm to Tromso via Eurail app, web site as well as SJ web site and appp but it shows no train is running from May 2024 to Dec 2024. Did you have similar problem with the booking? Anyway, you video is great and keep up the goood work
Hello up there in QLD! 👋 We used the sj billet website (link in description) and didnt have any problems with it. We booked the tickets in August (2023) for a December trip, so about 4 months in advance. Someone else commented they were doing train track maintenance and they couldnt book either, Im not too sure? Thank you for watching, we hope you get to take this journey to Tromso - it was a wonderful experience 🥰
They're just our normal clothes we wear in Melbourne winter, albeit we don't experience below zero temperatures very often, layering is the way to go! Oh and we bought our beanies and scarves from H&M in Warsaw, Poland ☺️
Thank you ☺️ The website we used to book the train is in the description. We filmed this video early December 2023 so routes, prices and timetables may have changed. Please check website for updated information. Thank you for watching 😀
Oh really? Is that bus 100? We only saw 1pm and 3:45pm as options (and we had the 1pm pre booked and paid). I explain all this in the video, did you actually watch it? Also, we just spent 18hrs on an overnight train, Im not waiting literal hours for a bus (to go a further 5 hours) if I dont have to. I hope this answers your question!
i wonder which month are u guys travel? i travel on this feb 2024 and thats was some problems with the trains till Kiruna, the rails from Kiruna to Narvik seems like damage and SJ has organised a Bus for altanative, but we waited 3 hours no bus is coming and pick us up...thats was a dissaster for us and luckly we manage to find a way to Narvik anyway. We take the 100 Bus to Tromso too at 3.45pm and lucky we arrived at bus station at 3.30pm...Same feelings like yours keep rushing to Bus Station...anyway Happy Holiday for Yours all...Good Luck Then!
Hello! We filmed this in December. Sorry to hear you had a less than pleasant experience reaching Narvik. Hope you had a nice time once you finally reached Tromso. Thank you for watching! ☺️
Hello, I work for the Norwegian part of the railroad for this trip, just before new year 2023 there was a very serious derailment on the Swedish side of the border, and those parts of the countries are so remote that the derailment wasn't fixed to passenger rail standards until the 18th of June 2024.
Hi Simon! Not too sure to be honest. We have had people say they've tried to book via the website we used, with no luck unfortunately. It would be such a shame if the route was discontinued! Keep us posted if you find a way to make a booking? 🤞

Absolutely an affordable option (we showed the seats when we ordered our food). Glad we booked the sleeper cabin though 😅
Good adventure ❤

Hi Kristy and Steve. What smell coming out of the room? Does it fade away later? Thankyou!
Hello! It smelled like urine 🤢 It did fade over time -or maybe we just got used to it haha!
@@KristyandSteve 🤣 thankyou for the info!
There are 3 buses per day from Narvik to Tromso. The last one is on 17:30. So why so much dammatic?

Thinking of going there from warm and sunny California to see the Northern light. any Idea
Absolutely do it if you get the chance! Incredible experience ❤️
Excellent train ride isn’t it! Kristy I know what you mean about tunnel vision! If I can make public transport I am crazy!
Such a great experience Ash, loved it! It is making us miss the cold so much though (we're currently in Thailand and its hottttttt! 🥵)

Hello! We put the websites in the description of this video ☺️
Realy good entertaining video and fun but why you not say the price? people watch to know prices of these things.
Thank you Veronica! We did give the prices - of the train and the bus. Its at the end of the video ☺️
How much money is the fare for two on this train? How long does it take to reach Tromso?
Hello! All this information is in the video ☺️
@@KristyandSteve Thank you
The train should get an hour faster in a few years when a new railway line opens between Umeå-Skelefteå.
Ooh good to know! We did enjoy this train journey , very beautiful ☺️
i am swedish you have to many layers on you should be just warm nearly freeze if you are outside moving around or your sweat will make you colder
Thanks for the tip and for watching! 🥰
Hi guys, does this train journey still exist? I'm keen to do it in August 2025.
Hi Simon! Not too sure to be honest. We have had people say they've tried to book via the website we used, with no luck unfortunately. It would be such a shame if the route was discontinued! Keep us posted if you find a way to make a booking? 🤞
The north of Sweden is not some kind of amusment park🤨,just woodland and snow and perhaps some reindeer 🦙🦙🦙🦙😐
True! ☺️
The most stressful thing you have ever done was running for a bus!!!!! What a terrible existence you have led.
Tongue in cheek, Simon! 😉
@@KristyandSteve Glad you have a sense of humour. I am planning on doing this trip later this year.
Absolutely do it if you have the opportunity, you won't regret it! ☺️
Hey hey . Awesome video :).Is it possible to maybe write you an email in regards of the trip. I have a couple of questions if that is ok. Thank you ✌️
Hello! Thats fine ☺️ Our email address is in the description of the video
