Love what IceRiver do, they dont mess around when it comes to cutting prices. Problem is it makes when to buy an even more tactical decision

I think its best to pass goldshell after the al box pricing fiasco, id never consider buying from them knowing how strong competitors iceriver is.

The way to go is efficiency, so we need the newest machines with the newest chips so goldshell and dragonball make no sense to me.
Time and time again goldshell never disappoints with over pricing! I'll chance it with multiple AL0's.

It's not always about just "ROI". If the market plays out and we pump in October/Nov or even later in Jan/Feb, what do you think will happen to the price of these units? Also have to look at the hardware as an asset.
I'm personally betting on the potential price action, if we pump in 2-3 months , even if I just sell at the price I paid for it and keep the yield , I'm good, or better yet price increases a bit , I'm good with that. Or neither happens and I just keep stacking alph . If you're just looking at pure "ROI" and no strategy beyond that, NGMI. Some work others don't , but sometimes the ones that do make up for all the others , it's all about your own personal strategy/goals.

@@ChristopherGeneva good call.. Id rather have multiple much more efficient AL0's and if one breaks I'm still good.. The goldshell is too much money and too much risk, not to mention they are using old chips.. Now I'm waiting for my RX0's to arrive.. 😁😁.. It's a crazy addiction we have, but heck, I tell the wife there's way more worse things I could be addicted to lmao
yes it’s dirty what DragonBall did with radiant, but at least they were the only company that admitted it lol, Icey boys and Goldshell probably were too and they all probably still are!! 🤑
They all do it for sure, the difference here is the extent of it by essentially taking over the network and the duration, never been done to that extent by them

Dragonball A40 is obsolete, and the Goldshell is overpriced. Where are the Icy Bois? I'm interested in something like the KS5L/M for ALPH
Honestly wouldn't be surprised to see them drop it tomorrow after this official announcement, 😂.

I still did not receive al0, at this point i believe more in radiant bcuz hashrate of alph to high :( just only losing yield at this point
AL0's are shipping now and should be arriving through the week , typhoon in China may delay things a bit .
Radiant hashrate going to get hit harder in comparison with alph when compared to where current yield is at. Yield will be pretty drastically different by end of month when these drop. I would much rather mine alph as it's already pumped a ton and buy radiant since it's so cheap relatively.
if I was Iceriver I would release
Iceriver AL1 2400gh / 600w unit at about 4000$
Iceriver AL2 4800gh / 1200w unit at about 7600$
They'll be coming , the question is when
Imo the al1 and al0 only worth it and prob never get the same yield as buying the coin, but efficiency is v important since price 0.22€/kwh
Potentially, but depends on your goal here and what you're trying to accomplish. I'm just adding to the bag and taking the bet that we pump between now and next 4 months and sell some or all of them for same price or more and keep the yield. Some of us just keep flipping units and on to the next one and aren't necessarily concerned with ROI.

can you help us understand the term “yield”
The amount of coins you are getting is the yield. The problem with focusing on dollar profitability is if right now the coin does a 3x or dumps 50% that dollar profitability value will change dramatically, but the amount of coins, or yield, will remain the same and at the end of the day , that "yield" value in the bull market is what I care about and not what the current value is. I won't be selling now, so don't care about current profitability, I'll be selling my "yield" next year when it appreciates with the bull market.

You can play with the calculators on whattomine.com and will show the yield , minetheasic.com also shows yield , but certain coins is inaccurate so have to be careful . Every coin has different dynamics/tokenomics that can affect yield , but hashrate/difficulty is pretty standard across most coins. Hard to really accurately predict future yield on these new to Asic coins as it's based on the amount of units produced and fluctuate greatly.
