Any issues with the power supply over heating the phone while recording? For example, I’m gonna be using the Mophie Powerstation while capturing video. I’ll be recording over a 1.5 hours.
@@m.douglas5406 I haven't personally tried recording longer than 35 minutes, so I've not encountered the power supply overheating the phone. However, I do plug it in to a charger that only outputs 12W or less, so my hunch is slow-charging may be preventing it from overheating the phone. I usually just plug it in to fast chargers (e.g. magsafe or the 18W adapter) when I'm on the go since the more juice you throw at a battery, the faster it charges, but the more heat it generates.
Whenever I plug in my yeti microphone into my phone and have my headphones plugged into the yeti mic i can’t hear myself. Do you know how to fix to where I could hear myself?
You are so easy to understand. You don't take anything for granted and started from the beginning and went over EVERY step. I can't tell you how good you are at explaining things. You don't come off too technical but down to earth and showed everything. I like the fact you have made mistakes in the past and we are learning from your errors! Thank you. I've been having terrible audio when I plug my blue yeti in my MacBook Pro. But it sounds fine when I plug into my iPhone... so frustrating! *update* this worked and I don't have the same issue at all. Thanks!
Thank you so much this tutorial really helped I found the Amsr TH-camrs were rubbish the whispering didn’t help me understand and thing and they don’t explain what you have done step by step to setup thank you so much liked and subscribed ❤
I wanted to really tell you a huge thank you for this video. I've been searching for months a way for my blue yeti to have good sound with my phone because it had so much sound interference I knew something was wrong with the cables and I did exactly like you did and the sound is so sooo much better so I just wanted to say a huge thank you 🙏⭐ !!

Broooooo I wish you would’ve linked it tho. Also becoming an Amazon affiliate is pretty easy you should definitely do it. Also also keep making videos! I love your stuff!
Glad it works still. And I don’t think it’s possible to turn off live mic monitoring for phone/ipad just through the mic only since the blue yeti is built with mic monitoring in real time. the only way to have it really off is via software setting (specifically if connected to WindowsOS and MacOS) but that defeats the purpose of connecting to iphone/ipad though 😂
I'm looking for an adapter USB mic On iphone Adapter that you are using, it's very interesting, thanks for sharing. I bought an adapter Like you use to connect USB mic fifine k 690 and record sound with iphone. The result is the sound is cut off. Not sure if Adapter doesn't support it or not. Because I ordered this adapter from Lasada. very good review Thank you so much
Thanks for this video. I have subscribed ! Question please: My recording room is a bit noisy. Does this mic help for - cancellation of unwanted ( background ) Noise ?
Tnx for watching and great question. Unfortunately, this mic will still pick up background noise even when the 'gain' feature is set to the lowest setting and you're using cardiod. My recommendation is to sound proof your surrounding (e.g. using sound proofing acoustic foam or blankets if you're on a budget) Other than that, you will will need to clean up the background noise by editing it using your preferred video/audio editing tool. Usually for me, I just use the noise gate and EQ feature in Vegas Pro (for making my videos) and Garage Band when making music.
I noticed with the pro usb mic I have that it wasn’t powerful enough I don’t know If I needed more power or just a better mic so I’ll be getting a BY for Xmas I record off my IPhone 11 with the same set up u have here great video man and love to have you on my PODCAST sometime

Whats the best way to monitoring audio with that setup in a live on instagram??
Is it defaulting to the blue yeti whenever it is connected or can you see the chosen input method anywhere in the camera app?
Question can I just plug in my iPhone charger or do I have to buy the power bank ??
yeah, just any power source. So a USB wall adapter (i.e. iphone charger) OR a power bank as I said in the video.
Thanks mate. I wanted to know whether the external power also charge the iphone and it looks like yes. Useful video!
great. How can I make this same setup with USB Condenser Mic to have background karaoke and add some reverb effects to live signing on Tiktok?
Thank you so much. This makes my life a lot simpler
Can you use just the regular iPhone 13 wall charger instead of power bank to charge your phone?
This was the only video I found that got straight to the point, thanks.
Good job dude straight to the point very detailed and well spoken
