Sweet the hunch was right, Willy, great sized nugget, and detectable friends. The depth of topsoil compared to the creek, looking like it had been hosed clean just a few days prior. The dirt carrying the water-worn gold might be what's falling into the creek but carried away in flash flooding, but shedding from the banks sitting on, and wearing into, mineralised sandstone bedrock, the meandering, bendy creek. We'd looked at GeoVic about types of topography, helped us understand what we're looking at where we've stuffed around for decades. Your SDC and coil seems to get good signals at depth, and quite stable? Looking forward to more, and more relics upcoming is good news, the background at the end a display cabinet of curiosities, the evolution of cabinet government comes from this exact pursuit of object lessons. Fk me, look at us getting highbrow at ¼ to 2am, watching Olympic skateboarders... Shame there's no 53 year old competing, sicking it with a Supa-Flex. Cheers Gabi, the creek that looked hosed out had been worked by someone a few weeks before i found it. They ledt plenty of easy gold around. Where the top soil was, was the first location, about 4km from the second spot. Had plenty of good finds in the relic eps coming. Hope you enjoy. Good Luck & Happy Swingin'

Cheers Bruce, with the Sdc it's strictly a gold machine, it has no settings other than its sensitivity. Simply turn it on, find the highest stable sensitivity setting then noise cancel and start swingin' Hope this helps mate. Good Luck & Happy Swingin'
