I feel sorry for people who don't want to evacuate. But if you choose to ignore evacuation orders, you can't expect to call for help. The help was telling you to evacuate.

I always find it amazing that during the worst parts of the hurricanes people will call for help, when everyone was told to leave. That no one could come out and help. They get cocky and say we’ll ride it out, then get scared or where they are get all the dama that was told they’d have. Now they wan5 help. Makes me made. I lived in La. I know what it’s like. It just rains alittle and it will flood.
So they decided to not give people who didnt have the ability to drive out of the area any open shelters and yet we are still hearing about how people "chose" not to leave. Did they have free buses running up until curfew to where ever these people could go? Did they provide vouchers or cash to people? Cab fares? Plane tickets? NO?? During a time where we have more unemployed people than ever they decided not to provide any options for people who couldnt get out in their vehicles or afford to pay for shelter and didnt open safer places...gross. I am in Florida. They open the shelters even if there is supposed to be a direct hit and everywhere in my county is within a short distance of the ocean...
