I Dont Know about the mentality of people over here in comment sec. They keep trolling "Bajaj" on having such low priced bike with low quality.. to all thoes i just wanna say that... just think and appreciate the efforts of bajaj on pouring such immense features(Dual ABS/Slipper/373cc) of super bikes into budget packed segment... its a common sense that at this price range u cant get an10/10 quality but still its better.... If u have such issue with that spend some more bucks and get bikes from Benelli/ kawasaki etc.
Whole point is that If u didnt appreciate the effort then just dont disrespect it either!!

Hi Vilas, a general question I have. Can we do touring with any new bike immediately after the delivery, unlike cars; people suggest to take long runs after the first service?.
Good. Even the Bajaj Avenger 220 cruise which I am having has an issue with its fuel gauge. It is not accurate. Does this Dominar you are riding have ABS?
Fuel sensor is most probably located at the back of the tank, so at speeds it might show more fuel. Happens all the time.
And the Dominar is held back due to the aerodynamics I think, with all the luggage you've strung on. Keeping that in mind, it still packs a mean punch.

Hi Vikas. Can you share what all you have so far not liked about dominar or a set of things you would think bajaj should have done better like the brakes padding you talked about.Also the kind of mileage it gives in city and highway.

that rvm going loose is a trademark defect in these kind of rvm , you can get it tighten but eventually the nut will get free and then you can either use a thread or replae the rvm
The dominar 400 is a very good touring bike. If you're interested in long rides i hope that bike would serve the purpose. Mr.Vikas you gave a very good review about dominar. The specs to the price ratio is so good and would definitely master the touring.
Nice information dear. VR, as u said it was showing 3 bars, and suddenly fuel guage down.. doesnt this bike have a reserve/on/off knob?? maybe the sensor may have some issues. other than that gauge isnt there any other options to come to know abt the fuel requirement?

What was the acquired top speed and does the acceleration (0-100) is same as claimed i.e. 8.23 secs of a bit fast?

If you're front tyre is up then all fuel goes in bake side
Then fuel gauge show nothing
But if you're front tyre is down then fuel gauge show more fuel in tank

I have question - confused between duke 250,benelli 250 and dominar 400 which I must buy. duke 250 great looks n power but costly. benelli same costly but no abs . dominor with slipper clutch n abs seems to be better choice but not sure. pls suggest me some thing.

fuel bar is not an issue this happens with my NS also most of the time when you do a long trip & incline but it will start again when you start bike again

Viraj V Naik frequency of oil change will be high, but bajaj uses 20w40, so it can survive at high temperatures

regarding fuel level..My KTM also has the same ...it will show 2-3 bars and suddenly the bars will reduce and low fuel..(they never reduce gradually) :P

All non Desi companies are very different from our desi Companies in Quality and reliablity in a superior way, be it Honda, Yamaha, RE, Suzuki. The products from these companies come at a high cost for a reason.
Take any product that has non desi roots, you will know.
And there is a saying.. "Quality never comes cheap", it applies to everything.

About that fuel indicator when I had Yamaha fazer v2 it used to show me 4 bars of fuel and suddenly it will drop to 1 after I stop it somewhere... Got it replaced 3 times but still that was not solved even after getting fuel guage changed

About the r3, it's bound to remain ahead on straights bcoz it's a twin cylinder engine and it costs twice of what dominar costs

Dominar exaust sounds superb.
I dont understand why people expect something which is not possible from any machine.
Chasing a machine which has higher BHP than yours will only make you frustrated and not overtake the bigger machine. The R3 has edge on the higher BHP and also Power to Weight Ratio is better than Dominar... Ofcourse i have a Dominar but dont want to do crazy things with this in the name of reviews and rider experience etc., etc.,
Most of the updates and reviews are only misleading and misguiding the bike lovers... Please stop doing all this... When you say Dominar is a Power Cruiser just show how well it can cruise at average + speeds like 120 and the effects of cornering, braking and ride comfort etc.,
I am tired of this Drags, Top speed chases, Fuel efficiency and what not...

Bajaj is quite well known for the inaccurate fuel reading. I own a Pulsar 180 and i have to depend on when the bike gets on reserve and stops. There are a lot of quirky things about Bajaj in that aspect.
I don't know why, butI see this inconsistency (not as much as the dominar in this video) of the fuel bar in Yamaha too (I used R15-s and FZ), but people attribute it to the inclination o fuel tank when parked.

the fuel gauge problem might've been caused due to use of ordinary petrol before.performance petrol like speed etc must be used for dominar ,if we use normal petrol it'll result in fuel gauge problem.iam bbspecialist @talwar and I know this.so people who are planning to buy dominar and who are currently using dominar fill it with performance petrol.i hope this solves the problem.
