I’m guessing there’s not a big overlap between people who watched that show and this one. 😂😂 Basically the main character from Newhart had had a show prior and when Newhart ended he woke up and it was the set from the original show with the same actress who played his wife in the original show. Everyone loved it. I’ve never seen a show since that was able to do it in a way everyone didn’t hate.

The entire storyline of Riverdale is lazy and sloppy and whenever they realise something isn't going to turn out how the want it to, they take it all back and basically call it a "plot twist" because they don't know how to tie up the hundreds of loose ends they created. Like the whole thing of Betty's mom and Farm. She was soooo not undercover. If you pay attention to the those episodes you'll notice. They probably just didn't know how to reel her back in. So they came up with this ridiculous idea of being undercover. Riverdale is absurd.
Considering how bad the show is, it will die a painful and miserable death. But it's still a roach- when you think you killed it turns out it's still alive and wiggling to survive.

The entire storyline of Riverdale is lazy and sloppy and whenever they realise something isn't going to turn out how the want it to, they take it all back and basically call it a "plot twist" because they don't know how to tie up the hundreds of loose ends they created. Like the whole thing of Betty's mom and Farm. She was soooo not undercover. If you pay attention to the those episodes you'll notice. They probably just didn't know how to reel her back in. So they came up with this ridiculous idea of being undercover.

I still don’t know how I feel about Jughead and Betty (THE MAIN LOVERS) sharing a biological brother and being step siblings. Also why doesn’t FP ever socialise with Charles in a father son kinda way? Like he seemed pretty upset when he found out he had a secret son with Alice but now he’s dead and he never got to meet him yet now that he knows his son isn’t dead he’s just like Uh cool fam no worries
Right?! I expected at least charles trying to talk to FP since they both are in law enforcement I would see charles trying to bond with FP thru that or something. Or at least FP trying to get to know charles since he now knows of his existence.
Their stepbrother it's not death, i think the writers show is face in the last season (4) where he is going to talk with the "impostor" that lied on his identicy, making believe to the betty family, that he was her real son (so the son of jughead too) but then, they find out that was a sociopathic like betty (almost) and they get him arrested, in prison he talk with the real brother of betty and jughead, and we find out that they're in love
I feel like the Riverdale writers room is just a DND round table where they roll a dice and then it’s like “you rolled a 2 on common sense so...Archie has to keep the bear that attacked him as a pet in order to keep his secret brother out of jail”

Yeah, and is he dying or does he have a "debilitating" disease? Is the disease lethal or debilitating or both? If it's both, people usually just say "deadly disease." Any deadly disease will likely be debilitating before death anyway.

They had plots where she was hanging out with Jason’s dead body... and she was being gaslighted by her mom... and she and Veronica started a rum business together... and she revived her mom’s brothel and forced her mom to run it again... but all of those have been dropped as far as I know. In the newest ep she said she was putting Betty “on suicide watch” and then peaced out immediately after.
