"He's got keys of the white on a major scale and I'ma nick 'em sharp like an ebony note" is one of the best bars and cleverest doubles I've heard from anyone. The lyricism is just poetry.
Great reaction man and of course the bars and the flow are insane - but I loved your comment about the production, 91Shots and HandsomeDex do not skimp on the effort there ever. They know when to bang and when to make space for the vocals and how to amp up and give the assist to the flow with the arrangement/fx etc - never feels like they just threw any old beat in there, I can feel the intentionality off it like heat from a fire
So, you sound like you might have some Jamaican or something in you? If so, am I right in thinking that you might understand and can keep up with the faster lyrics on this song? I ask because a lot of Americans say they love this but really can’t hear what Pete & bas saying and to me, it’s totally clear and I love it. ❤
@ ah, I knew I was probably slightly wrong because I listen to a lot of reggae and they usually Jamaican and you sound somewhat similar but all good 👍 But yeh my point was that Jamaicans, Caribbean Africans etc talk sing and rap faster and can usually understand sad faster music. Even for instance white British Pete & bas or Black British guys that rap faster and with that Jamaican feel. For some reason, whenever I see an American react to any above types of music, even when it’s really clear, they don’t understand. Confuses me a bit because not all American rappers rap slow but I guess it’s also the accent. Just ignore me. I think too much 😀

When it starts out”I’m a Pete-achoo the way I poke-a-man” you know you’re in for it.
