    I watch tons of TH-cam videos on health, and now I believe that it's safe for me to say that the cleaner a doctor eats the better looking he/she is. For example, Dr. O'Mara, Dr. Anthony cheefee, and Dr. Ken Derry. If an influencer looks like shit, I can be quite sure that their advice is shitty too. Love Dr. O’Mara.

      I don't understand how you can combine a 5 day water fast with 5 marathons. Average calories burned during a marathon is about 3000 plus another 1500 a day basic metabolic requirement. This is 5 x 4500 = 22500 calories, with nothing coming in. This sounds like such an extreme stress to the body, it must be dangerous.

    • @MyFatAdaptedLife
      @MyFatAdaptedLife 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @robertbrown6531 Thanks for your feedback and concern. Being fat-adapted, at 140 lbs & just under 10% bf, that means I have 14 lbs of bf to convert to beta-hydroxy-butyrate to fuel me for those five days. Thanks again.

    If you have a significant amount of weight to lose, it is advisable not to rush into intense physical activity. Instead, I recommend starting with a brisk walking routine and adopting a Keto diet. Following that, consider incorporating intermittent fasting into your regimen. Gradually transition to the Carnivore diet as you progress in your weight loss journey, and once you have shed enough weight, you can consider incorporating sprinting into your routine.
    When beginning sprinting, aim to sprint three times a week, focusing on short bursts of high-intensity exercise with a 10-second maximum sprint. Additionally, consider introducing fermented foods such as Sauerkraut into your diet for their probiotic benefits. Including exercises like push-ups, sit-ups, and squats can further enhance your fitness journey.
    As you implement these changes, you may begin to notice improvements in your mood, confidence, and stress levels. The positive effects of these lifestyle changes can contribute to an overall sense of well-being and happiness. Best of all, these strategies are cost-effective and accessible, making them worth a try.

    Love the nobility. I have several thin, old, sarcopenic patients who need the TRT for quality of life. If you're a male 65+ on TRT / HRT, don't let this guy make you feel bad about yourself. As for living longer, well just go travel, go visit some very very poor and impoverished areas of the world. Not talking about tourist areas. Living longer in hell is a curse for those people. Billions around the world live in poverty, they are lucky to get beans and rice, some eat dirt.

      I am 70 on TRT since age 64. I don’t over do it and keep my free T in the optimal range. When I started keto. I lost 80 lbs and my insulin level went from 16 to 7. My insulin remained stubbornly at 7 for several years. When I went on TRT, my fasting insulin dropped immediately to 2.5, which is optimal, and has stayed that way with 6 month blood draws. The reason that TRT works so well on insulin levels is because it has been shown time and time again to reduce insulin resistance. By what mechanism I am not sure - but I am sure it works.

    Confused AF. My knowledge on fasting and starvation does not come from watching videos of starving prisoners.
    Dr Peter Attia states clearly that the disadvantages of muscle mass outweigh any benefits of fasting and therefore doesn't recommend it.
    Dr Clements et al.in the book The Switch, state that eating meat is not for everyone. In fact i come from a majority Buddhist Vegetarian country (Sri Lanka).
    Also all the carnivores I have seen actually look very very old. They have grey hair and a lot of wrinkles.
    My dad was diagnosed with bowel cancer and had surgery at 68. Now, at 76 yrs old after a fish/vegetarian diet, he is free of cancer and has black hair growing back.

      I love arroz con habichuelas BUT, it's all sugar. I'm a sugar addict so I don't eat as much A con H as I used to and not as ofter. Same with other sugars.
