This really shows just how important raw stats are in battles of auto attacks. Those abilities that do 400 damage are real cute when they count for 2% of an opponent’s health pool.
Technically it only works cause most of the neutral upgrades are defensive and keep him alive, but yeh! stats supremacy!

More streamlined explanation of the ability
Bloodseeker's legendary E gives him % Bonus stats equal to the number of stacks of "Blood Essence" he has. He gains Blood Essence by killing stuff, and can hold up to 20 of it at a time.
Additionally, he can activate the ability to consume 20 stacks of Blood Essence to grant an additional, permanent 3% stat bonus which itself will additively stack with any further charges of Blood Essence he accrues from then on. He can do this indefinitely with no upper limit.
The drawback is that whenever he dies, he loses 40% of his stacks..
It's a very typical, classic infinite scaling mechanic. Kill shit, gain power forever, lose some power whenever you die. Very straightforward and not at all complicated.

Hmm, the gainrates on the stacks are interesting. Each hero kill is worth 24 creep kills. So the question of whether or not to fight basically boils down to whether or not you can kill 24 creeps in the time it would take to kill one hero. Weigh, of course, against the risk of dying and losing stats.
Problem is if you can even kill the heros, MK was impossible early-mid game. However, you only need them to die near you. So actually you just need to hope other people fight so you can get the stacks of their death, then possibly finish off the winner. So roaming could be viable if there are a lot of aggressive heros in play and not as many passive farmers.
Wouldn't radiance be good with this since it scales off stats??

I know its a meme... But some of the neutral upgrades are kinda great. The shields look negligible but are actually kinda good the stats are no question great. Heck even the early 2nd legendary is kinda good.

Yeah they keep spawning and auto attacking after the end screen, the game doesn't pause.
Can you try and make it to the final duel without killing anyone?

A little bit of both... He got so much stats and survivability from the neutral upgrades that its a little bit of both
The orbs were questionable but the skill level shown in the final duel was ...

This build slowly granting Baumi a free Rapier
It was like 5 apex worth stats + 30% movespeed +30% status resist +15% spellamp.
Bloodseeker E was kinda the best for the neutral build because the empowered stats actually meant something. Even spell amp was useful for bloodrage shard.
Can you do this again but with a mage tipe Hero?

It annoys me greatly when Baumi picks up +120HP over +5 secondary stats on AGI/INT heroes... is there any good reason to do so?
5 str is only 100HP. That's probably the reason. The extra 0.5 Hp/s is negligable so isn't really considered.

For bloodseeker E build I would say stats for sure because you are buffing your percentage based bonus (I think), but in other scenarios, there are agi heroes who don't really care about more max mana. Same with any int caster builds that might not care about anything besides the health like zeus or leshrac. Attack speed does nothing for them and they can always pick +3 armor some other time if they feel they're lacking - plus there are armor items like shivas they might want to get.
Plus you want to balance it, right? If you have 4k hp and 10 armor, increase your armor to gain more effective hp. If you have 40 armor and 2k hp, increasing your hp is better as it's a bigger ehp gain than increasing your dmg resistance by like 0.1% with more armor as that stacks diminishingly. Then factor in, are you taking physical damage or magical damage more? Is the hero you are worried about going to kill you slower by increasing your armor if they do mainly magical damage? Not really.
