These are those he spoke of let the dead bury the dead. As the weak fall we continue to war. I stopped listening to mainstream Christian music 5 years ago. It's garbage. I've gone back to our roots, listening to hymns. The music that praises God.
I have found some great Bible based Christian rock music, but yeah I agree with you on the mainstream stuff

That'y why I don't listen to modern christian music and only listen to Johann Sebastian Bach and all the other christian composers (J.S.B is actually from Germany and I'm from Austria - Austria had a lot of christian composers back then... It's full if history) and I love The Heritage Singers. I love the old worship music because it was sooooo innocent and majestic. I hate modern synth tracks. We should set us apart from the world. Christian music today is so worldly and is nothing but worldly music but with God and Jesus in it. Sounds the same as the other modern trash music.
Listen to Bach, that's musical artwork. Or another christian composer from today: Efisio Cross.

Yesterday I was battling in my mind what music to listen to, and what's not edifying etc, and Jesus spoke to me with some clarification that made it so simple for me. God told me.. "If you would listen to it in the presence of the all mighty God in heaven then it's appropriate to worship to on Earth". So now, if it crosses my mind as something I wouldn't sing in front of Jesus.. IM NOT LISTENING TO IT!!!!!

Back in 1997, when Kirk Franklin released his first album, the songs were worship and gospel music melodies unto God. I went to the concert in 1998 right after that first album was released, and it was a worship service, praise, and tears. But this Kirk Franklin is NOT the one from 1997-98. It is clear that fame and the love of mammon within his spirit have now led to an UNHOLY MIXTURE in his music. May Kirk's heart and mind be transformed and God open his EYES to SEE and his EARS to HEAR to worship God in Spirit and in Truth and with awe and reverance for God and His Word. I always questioned that, and never understood what was the big deal. But now I know it was my discernment kicking in at the time… and I wasn’t even a strong Christian back then, so it makes me wonder about these people who have been in church their entire lives and cannot see spiritual things. Are they even seeking the discernment they lack?? Or, are they just going with the flow?? I even heard a pastor say he was “winging it sometimes.” SMH

I was just watching a video that a pastor friend of mine sent to me talking about the church in North Korea and how serious they are. One thing that I took away from that was, they are serious about the word of God and some of them have never even seen a Bible before, some of them only know a certain amount of verses and they have it memorized.
We have unending amounts of Bible possibilities at our fingertips. But we also have an amount of social media at our finger and we addicted to it.

This happened in my country 🇯🇲 and many Christians were actually offended because there was noooo way a local gospel artist could’ve done that and gotten away with it.

It’s all dance that comes from the heart so i don’t see an abomination here as some people call it. I think some people can exaggerate and those are the types of Christian that make Christianity not fun. Praise comes in all forms. If man wants to dance he’s free to do it. You must not know the power of that song. “Black” & “White” gospels are definitely different. This song is so powerful, I’ve cried during it. We worship differently. This happened at the Fun in the Son concert in Jamaica. Jamaicans look forward to this concert every year and have been for years. I remember these concerts being so filled with worship, people falling down on their faces due to the presence of God. I remember persons being saved every year at this concert. It was one of the few concerts my parents would allow us to go to, and it was always a beautiful experience. We've always featured international artists, but what happened this year is a no-no.

Just get rocks and stone him. Where is the love? Where is the compassion? People are literally acting like they caught in the act of adultery. Galatians 6:1 if anyone is caught in transgressions, Paul charges all believers, you who are spiritual should restore him in a spirit of GENTLENESS. Also the Bible talks about seeing the speck in someone else’s eyes when they have a log in theirs. Kirk Franklin is on social media. Wouldn’t it be useful to rebuke him in love on his page instead of talking negatively about him on someone else’s TH-cam channel, that he’s probably never going to see. We will be held responsible for everything that comes out of our mouth.

Compassion?? Yea, no this is absolutely no compassion patty cake time. People that live the same way or believe the same way are the ones that think like that. They are the ones that say compassion is what we do in this instance! But nope. grace is not to be abused! And grace is not for us to deliberately stand with evil and say oh well I’m under grace so I can do whatever I want. That’s not what grace is for. But God will chasten them. They will more than likely be left behind for this. I doubt they will repent before Jesus comes back. Make sure you’re not in line with this mess and keep your heart pure. Our heart has to be on Jesus and in Jesus and working daily to die to oneself. Then grace covers us. When we Willy nilly just behave like the world and disregard everything God says, we need some eye opening chastening and correction. But God will get them for this. We gotta pray that peoples eyes are opened to the real truth and not those who have twisted the word of God to mean something else.
God has something different to say when it comes to this mess. God hates evil and wants us to hate evil also. But I wouldn’t argue with those that disagree with you either. I know people in my family that agree with this also and we’ve had some serious arguments about it that got out of hand. So the enemy will jump In and attack you so just pray for those that you know need that prayer and I would suggest not engaging with those that are ok with this. Cus if they are ok with this then they most likely got some demonic strongholds that will cause trouble if u bring it up. Leave it to God to deal with them. Maybe bring it up once and after that, leave it be.

Someone I knew told me, oh stop it and stop condemning people, don’t you remember Jesus sat with sinners!! Man that blows my mind! What they don’t know is that Jesus never sat with sinners that were in agreement with evil! Jesus never went out to the bars and sat with those doing evil on purpose. Jesus never went out to get people to force them to listen to him. He sat with people who were seriously following him and were showing reverent and repentant hearts! Jesus sat with sinners that wanted to change. Jesus sat with people who gave up the world and everything else to follow him wherever he went! Jesus didn’t sit with those who were mocking him. So people have some weird twisted understanding of the Word cus they don’t sit in the presence of God. We who do, though need to pray that God chastens them quickly to bring them back to him before the rapture! We can pray that God has mercy on them so they can be led back fm the path of destruction! God help us all!

I stopped listening to Kirk and my family and friends said I’m over reacting I should just focus on the lyrics but something in me just can’t sing along to his music knowing his character … it’s as if I’m singing along to Kirk’s kingdom and not the Lord’s kingdom… it just doesn’t sit right with me… it sucks because I remember singing along to his older tracks with my mom growing up 😓… what’s worse it’s not just him there are so many out there doing this it’s really difficult finding a solid upright gospel artists these days
People who say you are overreacting are used to see this stuff and maybe even worser…
The effect of it is desensitization and their heart maybe hardened.
Only by repentance and staying away from this kind of garbage and putting the Lord on the first place in their life they can be sensitive again.

STAY IN CHRIST JESUS. His yoke is TRUTH. It's hard to find a gospel singer/s that you can relate to as a young virtuous man. I went thru the same growing up and the peer pressure has increased horribly for the youth. But trust that the Lord really does provide.
I used to listen to mostly modern gospel music but since I totally surrendered to Jesus I have been loving old gospel hymns. Jesus just changed my heart to everything! Just yesterday the Lord put the secular song in my heart "I can see clearly now the ran is gone" and it talked about praying. When you have Jesus running your life... He makes all things new❤❤❤❤❤

Quiet as it's kept, this man was NEVER on the Lord’s side. I remember watching something one time where Kirk didn't know he was being recorded. He was saying how he was a plant, strategically placed in the Gospel music industry as an experiment to try to incorporate secular music into Christian music to blend them together. He also said that the "experiment" isn't as successful as the elites wanted it to be.

KF was a singer who wanted to go into the secular world but God had told him no. So, he asked EL.EL asked him what difference did it make when he already knew God had told him no.
