The notes it plays are really sweet and go really well with the melody. the white space melody is at a perfect volume here too, not too dissonant and not drowning out the other melody. This is such a nice track on the ears, it’s nice to hear such sweet versions of already sweet and mellow tracks. This one made me particularly sad.

after listening too this so much im seeing so much in this track, it feels actually perfect with the piano and violin (atleast i think its violin), which are both only used together in Duet, then the small addition of whitespace bringing it all back, with the feeling of a place too sit down and go too sleep at night, still having the feeling of mystery with the piano around for example 2:07 everything matches up into this master peice, even somehow keeping the feel after when the somethings would take over it in game, so calm, its just great, all what i need in a beautifle remix/take on one of my favourite songs

If you know of that old place, then you must have visited it as well, correct? I’ve heard of this one memory, hidden in that old place. It’s said to reveal something very important, locked away at the depths of the library. There’s supposedly a key to unlock it, but nobody knew where it was until my brother miraculously stumbled upon it. He lives in the walls of a pink castle, but I’ve never had the energy to make the trip. Maybe you could ask for it to gain access and bring the memory back. I’ll make it worth your while.” “Thank you, friend. I hope that you survive this deadly quest, and I wish you the best of luck.” This interaction would lead the player to sweetheart’s castle where they would have to take ownership of that place and take the key simultaneously. Upon leaving the keepers room, the game would crash and re-open. The player would wake up in the lost library, unable to get back to sweetheart’s castle. Unlocking a newly-revealed door would put the player into blackspace 2 where they would have to find three pieces of sheet music throughout the abyssal place. After retrieving the final piece of sheet music, a new door would open that leads to a piano room where the player sets the pieces down. Finally, a new book appears containing the memory that KELP wants. Finally, after taking the memory, the player gets transported to the room you would normally go to after taking ownership of the castle. The player would then lose access to sweetheart’s castle forever, cutting off the side-quests in that area. When the player returns to the archives, KELP gives the player a key to the entirety of the archives, which would be filled with extra lore, enemies, sidequests, and bosses. This would add an extra reason for the player to take the castle and visit blackspace 2 while also streamlining all of it. Also, instead of being all in one room, the fear bosses would be each guarding a sheet music piece throughout blackspace two. Hikkikomori route only, of course.
