This is easily the biggest project I have completed. This took almost 3 months of near-constant work, and I'm pretty happy with the way it finished.
Let's get some stuff out of the way: I know that this can be improved by a very large factor. Many parts of this were unoptimized, like The Ruined Zoo (With Squirtle) and The Great Maze (Simply because I didn't get a very powerful sticker). I'm well aware of a Japanese TASer by the name of ピカピ 12, and his feat of beating normal Brawl's SSE in 1 hour and 12 minutes, but the main difference between his TAS and my TAS is that I didn't take damage in this at all. I know that taking damage can lead to timesaving in this, but I think this video can be in its own category.
This was TASed and recorded in many parts, as TASing it as one file would've led to desyncs slowing the progress of this tremendously.
Due to my impatience at recording the final stretch, I accidentally overwrote about 30 seconds of video and all of the audio in the video segment from 1:24:00 to about 1:28:00. Thankfully, the only video erased was backtracking in a large room (As the shortcut forces 1% on you, and I couldn't do that) so nothing major was lost.
I considered the beginning of "Time" as the beginning of the run, and the end of "Time" as the final attack that defeated Tabuu, which comes out to 1:34:03. I have no idea how that compares to realtime speedruns or other Project M TASes, as I'm the only one (As far as I know) who has completed a Project M Subspace TAS. Nonetheless, I hope all of you enjoy this run. I'm stepping away from Subspace for a decent while, so I can have a break from all of this.

I still find it funny that you find the Luigi fight in the Great Maze in a random pit. He had no definitive placing in the story, so Nintendo just puts him in a random pit.
So the plot of the Subspace Emissary changes completely once the characters are first blasted by the off-waves. It details the journey of a young boy with psychic powers, his brief journey to locate and revive the idol of the legendary bird man, and that man's personal quest to stomp everyone's shit.

There's something real depressing about seeing only Falcon, Fox, Luigi, Bowser, Sonic, Dedede, Kirby, and Ness there at the end.

It's not like the story is spoiled for everyone only because people are uploading videos of it on the internet, because they can simply choose not to watch them. This reason didn't stop him to make stories for Kid Icatus Uprising and the Kirby Games either so why does it bother him with the smash series?

IMPORTANT UPDATE: I just recreated, to the best of my ability, the "lost footage" around 1:24:37, and the time it took to get from the video loss to the first frame of good video was around 28 seconds. So the time in the title is pretty much spot on to what it actually is.

One more update: Because this version of Project M was loaded by the SD Card and Gecko Method, the loading times are abnormally quick compared to Brawl or Project M loaded straight from the disk. I don't quite have an idea exactly why, but if this TAS were done with the ISO method of Project M, and not the SD Card, then the time of this video would be much greater.

My hands hurt just watching all of this, jesus christ.
Beautifully executed, but there are a few things I got confused about.
1: When you took the time and "rescued" Fox, I thought it was because you would later have use for him, but you didn't.
2: In The Great Maze, you killed Ice Climbers, Meta Knight, and (I think it was) Mario before you needed to, so you kinda just went back and forth there.
3: In the same way, you went *back* to activate the south west portal instead of going in and out when you went past it the first time.
Indeed, I thought that I would have a use for Fox, but I never did need him at all. If I ever do this again, I won't do that, haha. As for the other parts, I was only following this one picture for a standard/best "route" through the maze, so I don't know if there are parts I can do better or not. And the reason why I went through the portal while passing it the second time was because I didn't foresee a freeze happening when I passed it the first time. I had to make accommodations so I could actually beat it (As a route I was going to do decided to freeze the game in a random spot) so it's slower than it should be.
DyllonStej Gaming Yeah, that makes sense. I've never tried using TAS myself, but I've heard that it's a great deal of work. I can imagine that even when you realize that there was a more optimal choice further back, it'd be a hassle to backtrack and deal with it.
The Ice Climbers probably only lost you a second or two, since the door was "along the way" to the top of the mountain, but f.ex. the Meta Knight door (outside Halbird) made you struggle against the wind one more time, dealing with like 10 seconds delay. But yeah... freeze.
Great fun watching the turbo Mario, by the way.

It is my strong belief that Master Core was derived from the Shaydas enemies. I don't know if this is already confirmed or not, but I would be genuinely surprised if it wasn't true
My theory is that a little bit of subspace leaked into master hand, and beating him in sm4sh caused it to burst out of him and turn into master core.

Why did you save the Fox trophy in the first Subspace mission if you only ever use Falcon in the Great Maze and vs. Tabuu?
My guess is that he picked up fox thinking it would be faster, but then realized the falcon was probably better? I say this purely because of how much faster falcon killed rayquaza compared to fox, i dont think the stickers would have made falcon fall behind in dps, also, falcon is the fastest sprinter in the game behind sonic, and sonic isnt likely to do as much damage as falcon. I could easily be wrong, but it looks like its the reason to me. The best balance of speed and power.

hes in turbo mode, so all his moves can be autocancelled into each other. thats why hes doing like 20 ariels on the giant primids
