Medial epicondylitis video I watched you had surgery no I was wondering about the ulnar nerve entrapment surgery those are two different surgeries so the first surgery must not have worked and you've got the decompression on a nerve surgery I'm paying for this out of my own pocket and I didn't want to get two surgeries so I'm confused maybe you can explain what you prefer because the pain in my elbow is so bad it hurts like crazy for years have to be on pain medicine all the time
I had the Medial epicondylitis because the tendon was bad in my LEFT elbow. It hurt when I lifted something. After the surgery I was having a different type of pain. They shave the bone down at the elbow and my ulnar nerve was no long sitting properly in its channel at the elbow. Also I would have some numbness. I went to see a hand and arm specialist, not a orthopedic Dr. He determined the nerve moving around was the cause of my pain. Elbow is fine now.
Im getting golfer's elbow surgery done soon. Have pain when picking things up or lifting for 4 years now and It's chronic now so it's time to do it the surgery way.
Have to have this surgery...first is carpal tunnel surgery in a week on my right hand, then 2 weeks after in my left hand I will have the carpal tunnel and cubical tunnel surgery. How long do you wear a bandage for?
I am having this exact surgery on my right arm/hand on the 8th. I have had Ulnar Nerve Decompression on my left elbow early last year and I recovered quite quickly. Since my right hand is my dominant hand, what accomodations would you suggest for me to reach out for when it comes to a student and a computer nerd? Did Physical Therapy help you gain back strength in your hand?
Left Elbow is feeling a lot better. With the 2 surgeries being done, that is a lot of trauma to area of the body. Dr said it could take up to a year for everything to feel normal. I do stretching and lifting at home to work the area and that helps. I am glad I had the surgeries.
Thank you I having this surgery next Friday. This was very helpful
Thank you I am having my surgery next week.
Hope it went well!!
How's ur hand now

PT just got range of motion back. Got strength back by getting back to everyday activities.
How long did the bad pain last
About 3 days
You did both carpal tunnel and cubital same time? When did you go back to work
Did both at the same time. I was off work for five weeks.
How would u rate your pain? Do you have a high or low pain tolerance?
Pain only lasted 3 days, Then just sore for 2 weeks
