    I love you videos and as a matter of fact I feel like you have told me all I need to know to start my journey. Thank you so much for this.
    However I will like to know if the maintenance money you talked must be in my own acc for a minimum of 30day. I mean can i provide another bank statement that is not mine. Say for instance my father or any other sponsor. Must the money be placed in my own acc directly.

      Hello and thank you so much for your lovely comment. I am glad you enjoy my videos and they are helpful. With regards to your question, I will suggest reading the Gov UK guidance on Student Visa (Tier 4) as it changes often. There is a section on maintenance funds and whose account can be used. When I did my student visa (over 10 years ago) it had to be in my account for the 30 days but I believe it has changed now and can be held in parents accounts (I am not sure about a sponsor's account or how they need to prove their relationship with you). I will suggest checking out the gov uk website on Tier 4 visas and the rules of maintenance funds and whose account it can be held in. Good luck with your plans.

      Hadeel Ibrahim thanks for your question and watching too! I am not sure but I don’t think it is impossible. I have seen one university offer OSPAP top up course for £4000 so it may be possible. It is best to ask the university you plan to apply to. I hope that’s helpful.

    can you guide how tough this ospap course ? like how much time will be spend studying and how tough the exams are? is part time job possible with OSPAP?

    • @Fashstyleliv
      @Fashstyleliv  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It’s very subjective and depends on everyone’s individual circumstances. I know most people will agree that the OSPAP is an intense course which is true. You need to spend a good part of your time studying, completing courseworks, etc. Part time may be possible but it will make everything quite difficult.

    Good noon, thanks for this amazing information, you said you had a Master degree before you apply for OSPAP right? My question is even after having a degree in the UK were you still ask to write IELT exam?

    • @Fashstyleliv
      @Fashstyleliv  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, I obtained my M.Sc in 2010/11 and yes I did have to write the IELTS exam. The GPHC website has clear instructions on people who can be exempt from the IELTS exam but if ever in doubt, always double check with GPHC.

    Love your content! Also interested in applying for OSPAP. I’d also like to ask if OET is also acceptable, aside from IELTS? And do I need to pass it before I apply for OSPAP?

    • @Fashstyleliv
      @Fashstyleliv  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for watching and I am glad you find my content useful. As far as I know, GPHC released a statement a few months ago saying they now accept OET in addition to IELTS. Yes, you will need to pass the either of them before you apply for OSPAP because the GPHC needs an English pass result for their adjudication process.

    Hello Pharm thanks so much for the information... please is it true most universities uses Gp to accept pharmacist for the training program and the Gp must be 2.1 and if u have 2.2 what can u do to gain acceptance into the university for the training

    • @Fashstyleliv
      @Fashstyleliv  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, thanks for watching. Some universities say so on their website but they still accept students with 2:2. It all depends on your application. As far as you are already a pharmacist, they should accept you. It may be best to apply early. It should be fine. Good luck.

    • @Fashstyleliv
      @Fashstyleliv  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for your comment. If you require a student visa to do your OSPAP then you are better off choosing the M.Sc version to allow you switch to either the post study work visa or skilled worker visa in country. If you choose the PGDip version and you require a student visa initially for your OSPAP, you won’t be eligible for the post study work visa and would need to apply for a skilled worker visa which needs a sponsor and you may need to apply from your home country. As always, please check the gov uk website for more information. Good luck.

    • @Fashstyleliv
      @Fashstyleliv  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hello and thanks for watching. That's a good question and it seems like it is possible but as the new PSW has some rules, I think it is best to read the guidance to ensure that you are within the law. Even if you used the PSW for OSPAP, you will only be able to complete the pre-reg and then have to look for a sponsor for Tier 2 to enable you then practice as a UK Pharmacist because PSW is usually 2 years but it can be 3 years if your previous degree was a PHD. Good luck.

    thanks for you videos. What if i already have another msc degree in the uk and i still want to do the ospap pgdip regardless? can i use both certificates to apply for a work visa?

    • @Fashstyleliv
      @Fashstyleliv  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ruky Ruk that’s such a good question and I have never come across a situation like that. It depends on so many things. Are you currently in the UK? What M.Sc degree did you get? If you had to leave the UK and re-enter with a student visa for OSPAP PG dip, I am inclined to think they may still not let you switch to a working visa when you finish as they will be looking at your current student visa and qualification. I may be totally wrong which is why I will advise speaking to an immigration lawyer (a reliable one based in the UK) as they are experts and would have come across different cases/scenarios.

    Ospap seems pretty expensive. So can one come to d Uk for master in pharmacy or public health. Den after this apply for ospap.. with this one gets to work and earn money for ospap and also get a better chance of applying for citizenship

    • @Fashstyleliv
      @Fashstyleliv  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello and thanks for your message. I think the cost of OSPAP is quite similar to public health in some universities. I do know University of Sunderland is the most affordable for OSPAP and that matches the cost of M.Sc Public health so you are better off doing OSPAP from the beginning. Doing a course in public health does not necessarily mean you would get a job in that area that would enable you save for the OSPAP. I personally would save up for OSPAP where you know getting a job as a pharmacist is sure. Hope this helps. Good luck!

    Really informative....
    Is Msc OSPSP Or MSc. Pharmaceutical Science is good? Can I work as a pharmacist after MSc. Pharmaceutical Science? When is the good time to apply GPhC for adjudication process?

    • @Fashstyleliv
      @Fashstyleliv  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello and thanks for watching. Both M.Scs are great depending on what you want to do afterwards. If you intend to work as a UK Pharmacist and you are a pharmacist from a non-EEA country, the only way is via OSPAP. The final deadline for GPHC to accept applications for OSPAP is July of each year if you want to commence the OSPAP course that same year. I always advice people to apply at least by March or April or earlier if possible in case there are any issues and to give time to apply for visas, etc. Good luck.

      There are a wide array of courses but I think the best way will be to look for employers who have a Tier 2 sponsorship license who may be able to sponsor you after your post study work visa expires (Usually two years after the student visa). @@Fashstyleliv First of all i thank you for replying. Do everyone will get pre registration training with a A rated sponsor (nhs ) after completing msc ospap ? If not we have to train within a community pharmacy right.? The minimum grant for community pharmacy is about 18k but the appropriate salary requirement for new entrant set by the ukvi is about £20800 so it will be difficult to change tier 4 to tier 2 right..? Eagerly waiting for your reply.

    My question is that after completing ospap Diploma 9 months is possible to get a job as pre registration Pharmacist on the basis of work permit

    • @Fashstyleliv
      @Fashstyleliv  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes you can but as I explained in my previous response that you have to secure a job as a pre-reg pharmacist before you start the OSPAP or during the OSPAP. If you do the OSPAP Diploma, you won’t be entitled to switching to a work visa/work permit in the UK if you came in on a student visa. Unless you have another visa asides a student visa, you should not do the OSPAP diploma version. Hope this makes sense.

    After ospap Diploma everyone have to get in uk as pre-registration Pharmacist or not ????

    • @Fashstyleliv
      @Fashstyleliv  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hello thanks for watching. Sorry, I don’t understand your question. After OSPAP (whether M.Sc or Diploma), the next stage is pre-registration and you have to secure a place to do this either before you start the OSPAP or during OSPAP. If you are not successful, you can do it after OSPAP but it can cause delays. As for the visa required for this, if you do the M.Sc OSPAP, it is easier to switch from a student visa to a work visa or post study work visa within the UK. If you do the Diploma version and you are on a student visa, you may have to apply for a work visa outside the UK which means going back to your country and this can cause delays. Hope this somewhat answers what your question might be.
