He is such an undesirable loser, I suspect that his wife is like this woman, desperate to settle for anything. I wouldn't want him to even take the trash out, but some women take on these problem men. Just a few seconds seeing him I can see that he drinks too much, is uneducated with limited prospects, has little ambition beyond taking advantage of these women, and has a moral compass that rusted up years ago due to lack of use. He will go home to his wife and spin a yarn about how the plaintiff was trying to trap him. All her fault, and he is the innocent victim. That is how these type of men roll.

BTW y'all................NEVER NEVER cash a check for someone else no matter how bonifide it looks. The bank will cash it for you and then YOU HAVE TO PAY IT BACK TO THE BANK. The bank will also hit you with bank fees. And, it you are super unlucky, you could be legally charged with passing a fraudulent check.
I'm glad she schooled the defendant, but it would be nice to know why the plaintiff has to pay off the dress. If she'll ruin her credit the loser should be responsible for that as well. The plaintiff really dodged a bullet with this one. Girl tie your tubes and move on.

I’m always amazed at single mothers with multiple kids (five in that case), which are low income and still have time, money and strength to go out looking for men, traveling to see them and giving them plenty of time and attention… I’m high income, have 2 kids and a wonderful husband and I still have to plan a week ahead to get a manicure. 😅😅
people need to work on themselves before they get married... being single is wonderful and you can still date and enjoy others.

I’m actually curious as to what the repercussions that plaintiff would face if she stopped making payments.
My best guess is if it was a custom dress you can’t exactly return that. So she may just be stuck with it lest they send it to collections if she doesn’t.

Doesn’t he have a bank account? You don’t need an ID to make a deposit… further, once it cleared, he could have used an ATM to make a withdrawal. Again, no ID required.
