You are right about Malinois. Not only smart but definitely a breed to have if you're on your own driving around the country. They will protect you like no other breed. I got mine as a puppy back in 2002.
Hi! I happily stumbled onto your channel. I have binged watched all your videos. I have the same car, and I amazed how you transformed it so you can travel and do your job. Your camera set ups are excellent. Keep ‘em coming. Also, excellent form on your 500 push-ups 😊
Hi Grace, a thought come to my mind whenever you flip the switch for your seat warmer, check the amp under the hood of your car. It may need to be changed. If I'm not mistaken it should take 10 amp and it is easy to replace as well as inexpensive. Good luck and let me know how that goes!
New subbie here I love all ur videos going to binge them all! I'm currently going thru a very rough, scary time in my life and seeing u be so independent and brave and positive gives me hope ❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏🙏 Keep em coming sistaa
I recently found your channel, gotta say Moose is a good addition! Your dry humor is pretty funny also, we probably have that in common. I have a temporary camper setup in my old Toyota Pickup that I can live out of when I get the road trip itch. Looking forward to your future videos!
Thanks for checking out the channel! The pup and I have a good time. I can’t wait for her to grow up just a bit more, so we can find even more adventures to get into together. Love that you have a rig that you can bug out in once in a while!
You are doing great you have gain quite a few people in the last couple weeks I started watching you when you were around 11k people now you at 24k and everyone likes your videos cause you are so real you don't do drama in your videos
I have a 400 W goal zero and what I do is put my solar panels on the dash in the window when I'm not in the vehicle and it continues to charge and when I get back into the vehicle switch back over to when I'm driving and that does a pretty well keeping it charged at all times!
been watching your vids for a while now because you sow me places I've only dreamed of seeing and probably otherwise never would! thanks for that! but I also watch because you remind me so much of my daughter! we lost her in May 22, I think she was a little older than you but my God you are so much like she was. so thank you for that too!
My 4 runner seat heater went out too. You can unplug the module under the passenger seat and switch it with the one under the driver seat if you don’t care about the passenger seat heater not working.
You’re living my dream! I first saw your video where you stopped in colorado and went to checkout how you put a mattress in your truck then saw you have a Belgian malinois too! Great rig and awesome dog!
Sometimes it is good just to be in a different area. Maybe not at the top of your preferences but will make going back to your list a favorite places even better. At least that is how is works for me. Several months in Florida and coming back to Colorado camping and it seems so good. Sounds like you need a bit more battery capacity too.
Well sad day, I've officially binge watch all your videos lol. Well on the bright side I have a new channel to look forward to watching, there's only a couple I like to watch. Keep the good videos coming!
Hi, when I was al lot younger than I am now , I did a big road trip from Los Angles to New York and back in 1976.And one of the areas we stayed at was Fort Stockton we made friends with the local people and they invited us to spend Christmas with them.Being from Brisbane Australia and so far from home we appreciated the hospitality. I really love your video's, and I hope to see more of them.
I am on my second 4R 2022 TRD Off-road. For reliability and durability second to none very few cars can match it. It’s not the fastest but it’s not a race car, gas mileage isn’t great but it’s not economy car, doesn’t have all fancy gadgets of today’s car hence why the reliability. It’s old-school simple and durable. As long as you change the oil and do the regular maintenance it can last you to 200-300k. It’s an excellent all-around vehicle was good road drive ability and smooth long as you don’t have beefed up off-road tires. Not to mention resale value is crazy, The price of a new one is close to a used one. Good luck
I'm not a full timer, but I like a good hotel day if I'm staying out for over a week. It's nice to stretch out, recharge my batteries (figuratively and actual batteries), have a long shower and comfortable dump, etc.
Internet providers will often cap the total data for a entire hotel. So in the evenings hotel internet will often slow way down since everyone has checked in.
My fave part of the vid: GATOR CAM COMING SOON!!!!! Love the channel and all the content. You keep it interesting and always make perfect sense even though you have no perfect plan. ;)
I'm sure someone already posted, but good there's a good chance your seat heater just blew the fuse. Check the owner's manual which fuse it is and change it. If you don't already, purchase a small fuse kit.
Hello, Happy New Year ! Are you no longer on the road no more videos ? Or did you just went home for the holidays visiting family? I miss your videos watched them all !!!
I've got (well my parents now) a german shepherd malinios mix. We got her when I was in 8th grade. She's 12 now. I miss her. She's not dead but she lives with my parents and I haven't been home for a while
I've done what you have done but all over Texas, I hit all the major cities plus bunch of minor ones too, the best were in no order = Austin, Galveston, San Antonio idk why I like Longview middle of nowhere Texas too
Loved this video and glad to see you stop by our barren west-lands :) Living in Central Texas, the biggest challenge I’ve faced in doing a bit more road-tripping is getting past my own state, LOL. You are close to the Guadalupe Mtns and Big Bend, though. Do you think you’ll go?
Do it. Do it. Do it! I had so much fun in west Texas honestly. And I’ll guess you’ll have to check back in next week for the answer to your question haha😉
Hi Grace. The hotel's "Do" throttle internet down/up load traffic. While having a video conference, it all of a sudden stopped. I called the front desk to see if the internet was down. After voicing my displeasure, they re-established me and said I needed to in the future request the limits removed when checking in, just say it's for work, it's never been a problem since. Do you have more then one solar gen in your car? Just thinking that alternating, keeping one in the car for the fridge and charge to other in the room. On a side note.... did you lose a bet and have to go to Stockton Texas?? 🙂 Just kidding Texas, I loved it there when I was traveling thru. Well Grace, I hope you get your batteries charged, car and yours, a little rest at a good hotel (pool, exercise room and breakfast/coffee) can make a break seem light a vacation. Okay I know what you're saying..... Stockton Texas.... really Brian?? lol Take care Grace and stay safe.
In hotels, U have 2 b careful bcuz if previous pets have had accidents & it's not been 100% cleaned, well...💁 it's not Zora's fault lol (if it happens)✌
@@NoPerfectPlan I was wondering and can only imagine, on the comments. Sad, ty for vids, I just bought a used Highlander bc Promaster 2015 I bought and have half built (before I drove it much) has wiring issues and sitting, one year now, can't get parts. Decided I'm not sitting another winter in frigid upper MW. The 2008 Toyota well cared for, came with maintenance records. Glad to see you and others out there in SUV's !
PS You can but probably shouldn't idle your engine too much, it can be hard on it. And for leaving it sit idling and going somewhere if it should blow a coolant hose you could fry the engine. Assuming your hoses in good shape but this happened to me. $$$$$ !
I was just wondering why you didn't just drive the car for 20 minutes? Just leaving it sit there running ruins the oil in the car it loses viscosity. I'm glad you got to go to a hotel for a couple nights and stretch out and get some work done. Great video 💞👍💯🐾🐾
Thank you!! Unfortunately, the plug in the car only works when the car is in park. I’ve tried several workarounds and forums to try to find a better solution, but haven’t found a good one yet. Thankfully, it’s rare that I have to let it idle like this. (And I do oil changes at least every 5000 miles despite putting extended performance oil rated to 20K miles… gotta take care of the home haha)!
@@NoPerfectPlan oh, ok. I get it👍‼️ I'm sure once in awhile won't hurt. My son's a mechanic and he's the one that told me that so I just thought I'd pass it on to you. I hope you get it all sorted out though. See you in the next video 😊
Need a battery pack so you can take it in places, charge it, than just put it in the car and charge the cooler instead of letting your car run. Just plug it up and leave it for when the car isn't running
Pillow cases, blanket, and sheets are generally changed out. I don't think the top comforter is switched unless there's an obvious issue. It's always a challenge as a guest at any hotel not knowing what's been brought into a room by a previous guest. a perfectly clean room one day , could have, fleas, bed bugs, roaches ,ants, fruit flies the next due to what might be crawling in and on someone's luggage or food stuffs. I'm sure it's a concern to pet owners that their pet not pick up something from previous animal in that room and humans not knowing that that room was recently rented to someone with a pet (allergies and insects).
Yup. I know where you are. Sometimes hotels are nice. Even though I find that area sketcy. Done that stretch a whole bunch. Be careful with those frontage roads. Texas yields rights of way the opposite of what makes sense. Look for signs.
Do you have a solar panel to charge the battery pack? I’m planning on mounting one on my prinsu roof rack when I do the install. I have the jackery battery. I’m running the same color 4Runner. Enjoy Texas.
Not yet - the rack and solar wasn’t in the budget when I got started on the road. I could technically grab a few panels now, but I am planning a new build at the moment and don’t want to add anything just yet. Thank you! Gotta love the 4Runners.

I like Fort Stockton, passed through many times on my way to and from Big Bend NP.
Texas is a state where you drive like 9 hours to go fishing only to still be in Texas
I’m an insurance fraud investigator and I had a case a few years ago with a psycho in Fort Stockton. That place still gives me the creeps.
