Trying this recipe with the lemon curd inside. Can’t say I loved this cake. Maybe if just not that big of a fan of lemon even though I though I was but apparently not for a cake. I also thought it was a bit to dry even though I put some water+lemon + sugar on all of the layers and it was still to dry. It was different and unique for sure and all of my neighbors loved it actually but I can’t say I’ll make another cake using citrus , just not my thing I guess. It was fun making this cake from scratch.

You make it look so easy. I still think you should have a coffee Dessert Bar Cafe type of place where people can just come in and get a slice of your wonderful desserts! You can train people to be your bakery chefs...how to make it just like you do. I mean there's no place where we can get things like what you make, the quality is fabulous!!! My mouth is always watering when I watch you make your beautiful creations. 😍
Tatyana, this cake looks wonderful. But could you include a link to the sifter? I've looked on Amazon, and I can find lots of sifters, but none that look exactly like yours. Yours seems to work very well & I would like to have a good sifter while helping out the channel a little.
Hi! The easiest way to adjust the recipe to prepare just half the original recipe. There will be a little more cake batter, so you'll need to bake for a little bit longer. Bake until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Enjoy!

I'm sorry you didn't love it! You can try adding lemon zest instead of the juice for the most flavor. I personally like the brand Lorann Oils for my extracts. They are the best tasting and truest to real taste. I get them on Amazon

Made this cake and it was ok. Lemon extract is powerful and artificial so I would exclude from frosting and replace with lemon juice if I make again
