      Yup. microwaving or steaming are great for the fresh stuff (keeps the sugars from breaking down) I save grilling and boiling for the older sweetcorn that isn't quite as sweet.

    Who doesn’t love corn on the cob smothered with butter and salt! Nice vid, Mike! I have cooked corn in the microwave like that many times. Mostly I’m out on the grill or the smoker so that’s where I’ve been cooking it here lately.

    Leave it in the husk and after 2 min. cut the big end off. Squeeze it from the small end and the corn will just slide out leaving the silk behind.

    I like your 2 minute way the best. Some people show cooking 3 or 4 minutes and it gets tuff. My buddy use to when we were hunting corn patches for the farmers to run the coons away from eating all of it , he would eat several ears raw. He might have done more damage than the coons.😂😂🤣🤣😆😆😂

      If you're microwaving a single ear with the husk on, it's four minutes and 2 minutes extra for each additional ear. Find vids on YT showing how to push the corn out of the husk once it's done. I tried that method yesterday for the first time, and it worked great. If you're on a fat-restricted diet, you can use low fat or fat-free yogurt instead of butter and any combination of spices you like.

  • @marktoldgardengnome4110
    @marktoldgardengnome4110 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Rosa just leaves the husk on, cuts the stalk end off, 2 minutes in the microwave,
    squeezes from the silk end, and it pops right out the fat. end. Nice and clean,
    firm hot kernels, perfect.
    Smoked pork butt roast, (pulled pork), coleslaw to top, corn on the cob,,,,,,,,,,,
    and it's nap time! 😋😋😋

      @MrCastIron  ปีที่แล้ว
