One of the best to do it! One of the toughest too. Hank jr. tumbled about 500 feet off of a steep mountain at the time of his first breakthrough album and is still going strong today! One of the reasons why you’ll always see him in shades.

Yes he is an icon but Hank Jrs first album was in 1964! His mountain fall was in 1975

You must’ve not heard his songs from the 60s such as Cajun Baby which was a #1 hit.

The song about Ramblin Man he is referring to in the song is I Was Born a Ramblin Man by the Allman Brothers. Though Hank Sr did have a song called Ramblin Man. This song is saying he wants to hear the upbeat Allman Brothers song instead of the heartbreaking Hank Sr music. That's why he says to play the song about the Ramblin Man but don't play Your Cheatin Heart

Listen to THE CONVERSATION, which in the video version is Hank Jr. & Waylon Jennings. Two of the coolest dudes you've ever heard.
Or, if you wanna see the softer side of Hank Jr., listen to the Live Version of THE LAST LOVE SONG.

He is singing as in person as his dad, and the good woman is his mother (but was his dad's wife) if that makes sense. Love the reaction.

Exactly, a tribute of sorts but a song short version of a biography of his Dad.

MUST REACT to Hank's song...The American Way!! Really listen to the lyrics. You will LOVE it! It's about how the wealthy versus the not so wealthy are treated!!

I think he's speaking from his experiences and speaking of his tendency to make bad decisions especially with women when drinking in the bars/honkey tonks.

I think “Family Tradition” by the same artist is a better song and largely addresses the same subject.

These live songs aren't as great because he was big into pills and alcohol and other things
