A tabby cat started coming to my home, in my backyard, would feed it. I actually found where she was from and the owners were moving and they were happy for me to have her. She was 5 years old and her name was MYRTLE. What a blessing this cat was for me as that was my sisters name who had recently passed away. It was like her spirit was with me, she was with me for 6 years and she gave me such comfort. She’s now crossed the rainbow to be in spirit with my sister 🕊🕊
Me too I live in a 23 unit complex and I feed about 12 strays and there are like three or four that are affectionate and so we name them they come twice a day to be fed. One had babies and brought them on our back porch one in particular black and white he just stays on our porch. We name him bandit. I love all Animals but I'm a cat person for sure
I'm a junkman and in my back yard i had 5 ferals that use to wait for me to come home on deck stairs. 2 days before a bad blizzard i opened the door said come in if you want they are with us to this day. We have 23 rescues all bad ruff lives. Not no more.
15 years at my house, already had 2 indoor cats, stray came along, feed him, sheltered him, he brought me a pregnant stray was able to create her, and take care of her 4 kittens inside. 2022 15 stray cats in my yard , TNR them back to my yard. I've been surrounded by cats all my life 💝

I just lost my solid black baby. He was a Baltimore City alley cat who chose me. He had a very good life. Regardless, it crushed my heart. There was another before him who was also a City stray. An absolutely beautiful long haired queen. She found me and hated everyone except for me. I am bereft. I am used to having a friend. I know another will somehow find its way to me. We do not choose them, they choose us.

Stray cats come to my home constantly. It took a year of my helping a sick cat and he finally trusted me to pet him and take him to a vet check at a no kill shelter. He was put down because they said he had "feline aids." All my cats seem to know when I was very ill and watched over me. They seem to have died in place or for me to live. Two of my cats, definately seemed to sacrifice for me health. Sounds odd, but it was so real and so much love between us. I think people who don't like cats must not try to understand them at all. They lack something in them. I love all animals.
i does give the cats food still, i had a stray puppy but it got adopted . the cat use to see me walking the pup etc. sometimes it came for the left overs food

had kitty pop thugh the floor like lil cute gremlin and was food aggresive and thught was semi feral at first becuase it was food aggresive but after getting her to get rid the food aggresion and finaly saving enugh of scumbag mammon's blessings to bring to the vet, turns out stressed the poor cat and wasted 100 bucks becuase was allready "fixed" altho i asked if anyone lost a cat but everyone just responded it was hanging with the other feral and semi-feral cats. i kept the cat becusae ppl so effing lazy (im pretty lazy sometimes but dang!) and would probbaly of put cat down moment it had even little bits of food aggression.
