“You should learn the Obi-Ani! I recommend this video.” Me: “No, I must follow master shaggy, because he a survivor of order 66, so I won’t watch that video you have sent me, I shall learn from the master himself, but anyways, may the scooby snack be with you.”
This honestly makes me want there to be a Star Wars fan film with you in it The stuff you can pull off is genuinely mind boggling Idk what Jedi Shaggy’s story would be like though I can imagine you being similar to Obi-Wan, or Luke And Fred being similar to Han Solo I did also want zombie stormtroopers to be in an actual movie So maybe at some point Jedi Shaggy could fight zombie stormtrooper’s because it would be like a Star Wars way of him fighting monsters in costumes But other then that I don’t know But ether way you’re genuinely an amazing martial artist
Funniest thing is I’m a self trained sword fighter. Been practicing since the age of 4. It’s been 2 decades and I learned this maneuver when I was six.
Some people (like myself) find it easiest to put the steps in simple words once you learn it. So if you're like me, here it is in 4 *very* simplistic steps: Twice, Back, Whip, Repeat. Twist the blade, rest on back, whip forward, repeat process.
Thank you! I love how detailed the explanation was! I’ve been looking for a video like this. For someone who wants a cool looking but affordable saber that won’t break when you hit something, what brand would you recommend?
Thank you! I tried to be as detailed as possible, and even exaggerated some of the movements a bit in ways that I found helped me to learn the movement patterns. As you get more comfortable with the spins, you can modify it in ways that feel best for you. As for the lightsaber, what exactly is your budget? Baselit sabers are the most affordable, and the most durable, but neopixels will be brighter and have more uniform blade illumination, but are a bit more expensive. They're not really ideal for sparring or dueling, but are pretty durable IMO in terms of just dropping them, accidentally hitting the blade on walls/floors/ceilings, or doing light contact for choreographed duels. Baselit sabers that have color changing and a dozen or so different sounds will probably run around $100 depending on the hilt, and neopixel (xenopixel) that have more effects and customization options will probably run $150-200, depending on the hilt. Either way, LGT sabers are solid affordable options. I've bought a lot of sabers from Vire Sabers and Mystic Knights Armory. They both sell LGT lightsabers. Vire lets you customize every part of the hilt, and Mystic Knights has some unique medieval looking parts. For the neopixel, the Xenopixel is a great budget option that still has plenty of features (the old one was V2, but now there's Xeno3), and for baselit the new Xenopixel baselit has a ton of customization options that were previously really only available for neopixel sabers.
Thanks for the vid. I am having difficulties with the flow after I have the lightsaber behind me. Since there is a change of direction, it feels disconnected
During the clone war i wanted to have him as my generals, but when they unfroze me from my cryogenic sleep, the republic put me under the command of plong krell. By the way, i was a sergent in the 6th expeditionary force of the UNSC, the Mt Blanc expeditionary force.
the issue is the balance point is exactly at the guard so I cant hold it there and removing the guard makes it so i press the buttons randomly :D (shin hati blade)
The second I go from figure eight while the blade is straight up behind my back the blade moves too much to the opposite side when twisting my waist and the momentum is absolutely lost :( do i have to grip it hard to move it back to front?
Watched the video so many times and im still stuck in step three, how am i supposed to spin it? It keeps falling from my Hand. Can someone please help me
Thank you master Sha'a gi, i couldn't figure out what to do with my hand on my back until you showed me the way

You can hold it below the balance point on the hilt, it’ll just have a little more top weight and take a little more momentum.
The second I go from figure eight while the blade is straight up behind my back the blade moves too much to the opposite side when twisting my waist and the momentum is absolutely lost :( do i have to grip it hard to move it back to front?
i have to know where that saber is from!
I made that lightsaber with parts from Vire Sabers, but I did cut and weather some parts myself.
👍
