Nowhere nearly as cheap as it could be, to be honest. You need 2 suspension-stabilizers, one switch to toggle the thruster, a controller connected to a suspension-steering to use W and S to pitch back and forward, and a suspension-steering to yaw (rotate like a tank), and you're good to go. A lot cheaper than what you built. Maybe I should make a tutorial, too.
I never claimed it to be the cheapest - just cheap I've already built one, but you can't flip with it :D Thanks for your tips but I'd keep W and S for throttle and would use the switch for changing the thruster position. In my opinion you don't need stepless thruster turning. Two well determined controller positions should be enough.
Had a go at building this, and all was good until setting the "Drivers Seat Turning" . How can I access this to adjust the settings ? Tried using the connect tool aimed at the bearing without any success. Do I need to press a key on my keyboard ? Appreciate any help.

what level do you have the suspension on? not sure if i missed it or what but kinda hard to get to it when its all put together in survival

you need a lvl 5 seat and you need to press e while holding connection tool and looking at a green bearing.
while trying to add a gas container i broke it can you make a video on how to adjust it to have a gas container or more?
