Herbert Stenger has been European Hill Climb Champion, German Hill Climb Champion, Austrian Champion and Bavarian and Northern Bavarian ADAC Champion several times. From 1987 Stenger and his team Equipe-Stenger built their own prototype racing cars in accordance with Group C regulations. From 2007 he started on BMW in the VLN endurance championship Nürburgring and in the 24-hour race on the Nürburgring.
