The video was good - the audio was fine to hear the engine run, but almost non-existent for your voice. Hope you will be able to solve that issue. Your diagnosis was very good.
Hello David, thank you for your kind comments. I have learned from my editing errors when posting on TH-cam. Being soft spoken I have since increased my voice volume to 160%. I just learned how to decrease the background noise from a machine in my next video post. Please let me know if I was more successful in my editing. Best regards John
Thank you! Looks like this engine has oil injection, so it was getting plenty of extra oil with your 50:1 premix. Kind of hard to hear you. An external mic would help that.
Your welcome. Yes it was getting lots of oil as I only had premix fuel on hand. Thank you for the sound comment. I do apologize, I forgot to increase the voice sound level sections before publishing the video.
@@RotacRepair so it's ok to run a bit of premix with oil injection just to make sure the oil injection is actually working? When I was fixin golf carts we were happy to just see the pump pushing oil from the line as a check.
Yes it is. Sorry I was very inexperienced at posting in 2020, hopefully you used the closed captions to read it. I’m not able to edit the volume in TH-cam Studio after posting it. Perhaps I should edit it properly and post it again.
we ran these engines in our sleds for years, never had a problem, what are these people doing to their engines? Going hundreds of miles into the bush on a sled in the night is far more dangerous than having to find an emergency landing spot for an ultralight.

Can barely hear what you are saying.
Please come back to the channel and check out “take 2” with improved audio.
Totally useless without audio!!!

Unfortunately your voice is low and not clear enough
I’ve reposted that same video recently as “Take#2” with the sound repaired as best as possible.
Please check it out.
I can hardly hear you, thanks
