Khaled Hosseini has a knack for shaking your world. I was in middle school when I read A Thousand Splendid Suns and I couldn't eat properly for some time after I finished reading. Then I read The Kite Runner a few years later... Sent shivers down my spine. I wonder where the author's inspiration to write these books came from. I have read three of his books and they are all rooted in traumatic experiences that shape so many lives that seem to be connected through fate. It's as if the author is knocking on our unnecessarily sheltered minds to say, "What is fiction for you is someone else's reality." I wonder if these stories are a way for him to confront the readers by bringing us face to face with our blissful ignorance by removing layers of blindfolds preventing us from seeing realities that differ from our own. Maybe all we experience through such books is only a glimpse of reality that none of us would wish upon anyone. What do you think? Also, I finished reading The Silent Patient a while back, and 🤯. I never imagined... Aaaaahhhh! Nevermind. Won't give spoilers, but aaaaaahhhhhh, whyyyyy?! Uff. On a lighter note, I am beginning to resonate with the font style that you use in your videos as YOUR font. As in, "Ooohh, that's Momina Munir's font" whenever I see it somewhere 🤭 ✨
'Kite runner' is waayy worse than 'A thousand splendid suns'.It is by the same author and its SO sad and traumatizing, its hard to read till the end. Would recommend if you want your soul destroyed.

Did read the silent patient and that was my first ever thriller which was obviously on the reccomendation of Momina..now i know that whatever she reccomends is so worth my time... currently reading the memoir of Jennette McCurdy (in love)

Mr Khalid Hussaini likes to stab us in the worst way and then takes the knife out like nothing happened and us poor people just cry on the trauma we are left with 😭😭😭
There's this book "Sophie's World" (talks about the history of philosophy) by Josten Gaarder, it's my recent read and i believe you'll like it, do look it up andd keep up these amazing videos!! LOVING IT ❣️

Ohkk so basically I started loving books from wattpadd and I decided to read more books but real life ones or like the physical ones a I bought it starts with us as my first book cuz it was so trendy at that time and shatter me as my sec book and according to her she didn't like it starts with us and she picked shatter me in this comfort zone vid and guess what that was the reason I didn't love thi book kinda thing much but still I'm trying to make this as my habit currently on 48 laws of power as my third book
