I used to live north of Plano and I am familiar with your area, with your knowledge you do not need 1h15m commute. Work from home or switch work, one day you will appreciate. Love your channel.
Lol... the same thing happened to me where I was interning last summer. There was a volunteering meeting that was supposed to happen in one of the meeting rooms but got cancelled and I wasn't aware that it got cancelled. I saw another of the interns in the room and went in and sat until they told me that it was their team meeting. All the other interns had a good laugh when they heard about it the next day.
Hi Dimitri, I am an Italian guy who is studying statistics as a bachelor's degree and after that I will do a master's degree in quantitative finance, in the meantime I have developed a discretionary trading strategy on futures that uses the study of order flow, do you think that if I do an audit on the results of my profitable strategy, I can have a competitive profile then when I will have to look for a job at a hedge fund or a prop trading firm as a junior? (I do not plan to work in the USA, but in Europe or Dubai that I have seen is attracting several active funds)
Hi Dimitri, I hope you're doing well. I'm a junior at university, studying Mathematics and Computer Science, and I've recently developed an interest in financial engineering. During my research, I came across the idea of building an option pricing model using Monte Carlo simulations as a potential starter project. Do you think this would be a good choice to begin with? I’d greatly appreciate any advice or tips you might have.
@ethanperez3275 for an undergrad it would be a great project as you would learn a lot about Monte Carlo and derivative pricing which are both challenging theoretically.

Happened with me once but was thankfully online due to COVID time. I just made an excuse saying that I got the wrong meeting link 😂
Thanks for making us laugh Dimitri!
Do you listen to something on your commute time? 1hr15 one way is quite a lot!
