Someone somewhere said that the 1990s in America was the peak of human experience. The fruits of generations of labor fully realized. With the millennium and 9/11 shortly thereafter, the gradual decline began.
I look at the 90s through rose tinted glasses. Sure, a lot of my issues began then (I was born in '87), but life was simpler. Cartoon channel became a thing and that was awesome, Sega channel, Red Alert and Red Alert 2, squirt guns and cap guns, playing outside, no spy devices we use 24/7, Internet chatrooms, no social media or online bullying, the cold war just ended, the biggest conflict in the TV was in the Balkans, the Gulf War was over quick, food was cheap, and notes from girls in class.
@@SonOfTheDawn515 lol this music is exactly for 37-year-olds to get all cozy nostalgic with. Perfect. I feel like being born at the end of the 80s makes us a real special cohort. The 80s were something! Not that I was really around to see (too busy being a baby). From other people's accounts, it was a decade of excess and decadence and a fun time to be around. It couldn't last forever, so I feel almost like the 90s were immediately nostalgic if that makes sense. It was a decade of gratitude, and I think we knew that the calm was also translucent and temporary. Way to go Utopic.Dreamer
@@Zelmallingold this era we live in right now really sucks. This makes the 90s really be more nostalgic. The only good thing about this era is the technology is better.
Born in 1990, and yes it was actually like this if and when you wanted it to be. 9/11 was the breaking point and so was SARS, which happened around the same time.
This music is not from the 90s. This is pure 80s. If you were on the 90s you were listening back street boys or snoop dog. Come on, this type music ended around 1987. Trust me, I was born on 1971.
@Spazticmonkey1000 how old are you BRO? synthwave started in Germany in the late 70s. YO BRO ! BY 1990S you were on route for Britney spears and then spice girls. Sorry Bro, but nope, the 90s were no dope.

My 15 year old self called from the 90’s and said he misses me and to come back…I need a minute…
Such a great era passed and seems like a far dream.

“Erm actually this music came out in 87 only 3 years before the year 1990 so therefore all of this is bad” BRO shut up!
