I enjoyed this game quite a bit. Still not sure how to unlock those piece of code achievements. If it has something to do with the cryptic descriptions in the undercroft, I still have no idea. I have to say, the demon curse was quite a fun play
Hey there! The guy that made fruit ninja (way back when) just announced a new solo developed game thats a roguelike! Check out the "Feed the Deep" trailer!! Its so cool! Inspired by spelunky and dome keeper!
This video made me buy the game. There was something that annoyed me, though: Vision of Power doesn't say how much it costs to use. I mentionned the issue on the game's forum, and 40 minutes later the game was updated to include the cost in its description! The same update also included "Added a small easter egg featuring Olexa in the catacomb descent, thanks for playing my game ❤"
My favourite hidden gem roguelike has to be "Into the Necrovale". Dev is super active and always takes ideas from the communities to implement into the game. There's very frequent updates and the build variety is really good.
That moon wasn't there the whole time. You unlock it by playing. In a similar vain you can unlock rerolls for the upgrades by completing parts of the Necropolis.
When I first saw this game on your underrated gems video, I was like, "No way this game works." And then I played the game and the game was like, "Way."
Honestly, this game gets SO INTERESTING later on! I really hope to see more from you in this :D I'm not gonna spoil much, but I can't wait for you to see the first boss ;P

Bought the game because of this video and I had a lot of fun. I just hit 100% achievements this week. Last patch (I think) I noticed you are now featured in the game :P
I think it would be cool if they added in bosses that appear either after X rounds or as you collect boots. Could be a monster that sits on the new 6th tile. Bosses, aside from attack, health and abilities could also have 'rounds' or 'fight duration' stat, that shows you for how many rounds you'll fight it. Basically you clear the 5 spaces as normal.. go for X rounds against the boss. Reset back, and try to reach the boss again to continue fighting. Collecting boots during these is not possible.
Oh boy, am I glad I discovered you! I'm an absolute roguelike whore and already have massive faith that you'll showcase a bunch of games I'll end up getting :D

I was skeptical in the beginning but I see the vision. It looks really fun!

This reminds me of 2010s flash games. The sound effects especially remind me of the adventurequest ones haha

What happens if you survive so long you get every upgrade? Can you softlock yourself and try to get a minimum boots run?
Lol I have no clue
When you get 10 boots, you reach your grave, if I remember correctly, you can fail to find enough before the end.
If you survive long enough to max your upgrades without collecting 10 boots you lose. You never find your grave and wander for eternity.

Play more, you are only in Act 1 of the game. You an probably reach Act 2 in one more video.
There is a way to maximize your efficiency while looking for a lantern but imo its just too time consuming.
