I enjoyed this game quite a bit. Still not sure how to unlock those piece of code achievements. If it has something to do with the cryptic descriptions in the undercroft, I still have no idea.
I have to say, the demon curse was quite a fun play

I was skeptical in the beginning but I see the vision. It looks really fun!
My favourite hidden gem roguelike has to be "Into the Necrovale".
Dev is super active and always takes ideas from the communities to implement into the game.
There's very frequent updates and the build variety is really good.
We played it for an olexa look, it’s pretty good!
That moon wasn't there the whole time. You unlock it by playing. In a similar vain you can unlock rerolls for the upgrades by completing parts of the Necropolis.
This looks like it'd scratch my itch for satisfying short-run roguelites.
I'll definitely be checking this out.

When I first saw this game on your underrated gems video, I was like, "No way this game works." And then I played the game and the game was like, "Way."
I think it would be cool if they added in bosses that appear either after X rounds or as you collect boots.
Could be a monster that sits on the new 6th tile. Bosses, aside from attack, health and abilities could also have 'rounds' or 'fight duration' stat, that shows you for how many rounds you'll fight it.
Basically you clear the 5 spaces as normal.. go for X rounds against the boss. Reset back, and try to reach the boss again to continue fighting. Collecting boots during these is not possible.
i like seeing you spotlight these little games i wouldnt see otherwise!

This game looks a lot like games I played on my Commodore 64, but with modern roguelike aspects of course! It's a fun game to be sure.
I bought this after you played it the first time (I think it was your video). Its pretty fun and cheap as hell.
This reminds me of 2010s flash games. The sound effects especially remind me of the adventurequest ones haha

What happens if you survive so long you get every upgrade? Can you softlock yourself and try to get a minimum boots run?
Lol I have no clue
When you get 10 boots, you reach your grave, if I remember correctly, you can fail to find enough before the end.
If you survive long enough to max your upgrades without collecting 10 boots you lose. You never find your grave and wander for eternity.

There is a way to maximize your efficiency while looking for a lantern but imo its just too time consuming.
