I wonder if adding a single dowel glued between the two pieces would add more durability in case of having to move the table in the future. Just a thought. An amazing piece thanks for sharing.
Good morning 🌅, I remember you making this about 6 months ago, a-shame that it broke, the repair might of been better with a dowel in it, It might be worth putting some gliders on the underside, you can get them in different sizes, good luck for the future, France.
A rod or dowel through the legs might help reinforce them, but due to the leg angles and the amount of stacked plywood layers that make-up the table base... might be a bit tricky going that route. Something I'll think about next time if I ever find myself building another plywood layered furniture piece :)
Well, that sucks that it broke. I remember the video of you making it where it just wasn't coming out like you wanted, but you made it work. The fish tank area looks neat with all the greenery around it. 👍
Nice job on organization. And never apologize for being safe in the shop by attaching the anti-kickback and guard to your table saw. Thanks for doing a good job of displaying shop safety!!
Elena Thanks for Sharing, you seem very confident using your equipment specially the table saw , can i give a suggestion @ 12:40 you made that cut with the smaller cut left of the blade, you want to have the smaller cut side against the fence for the purpose of preventing kickback, ask me how i now. Great job on that table leg fix and i'm all about french cleats strong hold for cabinets also.
This video showcases your inherent talents to design and build your thoughts. That ability also showcases your incredible intelligence. following up on past projects is always challenging. The efforts you expend in maintaining the cleanliness of your shop, pays dividends in keeping injury free. As always a pleasure to see and hear your latest endeavors.
Nice work, some other idea for fixing the table might be marking the inner parts of the leg with a hadless nail and put a pair of dowels (tarugos), glue the piece and clap it in the original possition but with a piece of wood insted of the glass, with heavy stuff on it. Nice job done! Greatings from Argentina
Great craftsmanship! And your aquariums has a nice nostalgic feel to it; especially where it's displayed. It reminds me of something I would see in the early 2000's tropical fish hobbyist magazine 🔥👍
A tip when you are making a holder with two rows of french cleats. Put the top cleat on the holder. Put the lower cleat on the wall. Hang the holder on the wall and with a pin nailer, nail the lower cleat to the holder. The lower cleat will now be perfectly positioned.
Elena, I really enjoyed your shop projects and an update on your two fish-tanks!
Well done!

It does, but live and learn :)

I really enjoy your videos; they are very calming, and you always encourage me to tackle useful DIY projects at home. Thank you, Elena.
Of course! Glad you enjoy them.
I'm amazed at how organized your workspace is. And clean! I think the work to keep it tidy pays off.
Thank you! It's amazing how messy it gets after a couple little weekend projects.

Much appreciated. I don't think I'm doing anything too special, but stubbornness and trial and error tend to win out eventually.
What great way to fix the odd shape of the table

Thanks! That's something to consider if I have issues with this table again :)

Thank you! It's been a fun hobby to get into :)
Great idea, nice living room, nice table
Your skin is flawless looking 🤩
Thank you :)
Great video. Have you think of adding some dowels or biscuits to reinforce the strength of the broken table leg?

That’s a great suggestion. I’ll go that route next time 👍
